NVC asking for W-2 form

I received the following request from NVC which I don't really understand. They are asking for my W-2 but I am pretty sure that I have already submitted my W-2 along with I-864 form. Does anybody know what they are actually asking here?

 

NVC request: "You must submit the following financial evidence: A copy of every W-2 form that relates to your 2016 tax return."

A transcript is a superior document for the reasons stated above. 

 

Obtain one from the IRS and send that to the NVC instead.

It is pretty clear they are asking for your 2016 w2, sometime they misplace documents, if Inwas you I will put it on the mail today,

You wants to know the differences so you can figh the NVC?! Get what they asked for and you can get it on the IRS website!! 

Get that stuff send it or bring it to the interview whatever they want!!

If you were using this to file every w2 form https://fillable-form-w2.pdffiller.com/ then there will be nothing special about getting them to the NVC. Otherwise, you should obtain them from the IRS (as has been suggested above) or ask your contractor for copies

if we submit tax return transcript for the recent last year 2017 only then are we required to submit W2 along with that or its not necessary?

Hello!

My case is currently at NVC. All my documents have been "Accepted" since October 20th but I have not  yet to receive a Case Complete notice. 

They keeping to send me the same RFE about all my W-2 forms which I did send several times and each time they have been accepted and after that they ask me the same RFE about my W-2 forms, I am not sure what is going on. I called several times to NCV and the representative told me that the W-2 definitely in my case.  What is going on???

That happened with me. Even if I have send all the transcript , they are asking for w 2 forms. and send the document to keep it vertical even if I put it vertical, they asking that do not put it horizontal.

On December 7th I finally received an email from NVC that all the required documents are approved. It’s documentarily qualified and they will schedule the interview. I sent all my W-2 forms and all W-2 forms of my spouse, which is so weird because I filled out I-846 EZ form!

I'm having this issue right now, I've submitted the w2. They are now saying they need 

Nvc: additional support document is required, please submit every form w-2 on submitted tax transcript or tax return. But I dont understand what they need. Isnt the tax return just one thing?

If you mean W-2 meaning the same as Tax Transcript or Return, then no. W-2 just shown total amount you received from employer and already withdrawn taxes. There are deductions/expense/or potential additional taxes.

 

They normally do not ask for W-2 if Tax Return Transcript is submitted. However, if they ask, just re-upload them.

 

Individual Tax Income Return 1040 (or its variants like 1040-A/1040-EZ for previous tax years) is a document to help IRS collects your money legally, however, it does not really indicate if it is filed and received by IRS.  Anyone can use a software and prepare 1040 just for fun.

Tax Return Transcript contains very much the same information as 1040 Tax Return but it is official document from IRS that they received your filing.
