To me this is horrific.  If anyone has ever had experience with acid burns I think they know what I am talking about.

A teenager has been arrested after acid was thrown in people's faces in five attacks over one night in London.

Two moped riders attacked the victims over 90 minutes in Islington, Stoke Newington and Hackney on Thursday.

An eyewitness said he heard a victim, who he believed was a delivery driver, "screaming in pain". One victim suffered "life-changing injuries".

Police said they were looking into whether moped riders were targeted so their bikes could be stolen.

Hackney resident Jon Moody said he was watching TV when he heard screaming and ran to the window.

Dude, just let me give you my moped so you don't ruin my life over something so trivial as damn moped.

UK well on its way toward being like a third world country (where you hear of acid attacks and terrorism like it's normal).. gotta love that tolerance.

I guess we will have to start putting laws in place for acid.

And watch the left whine. But to their credit it would be useless. Quite a ton of MENA countries have laws against child marriages, FGM, etc., yet that hasn't stopped it from being prevalent anyways.

This comes after a few weeks from an attack on two individuals, listed as a hate crime. A second individual has been arrested in the latest attack. I think we'll soon see why the victims were chosen. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jul/14/police-investigate-acid-attacks-east-london

that can't be right. only thing that stops a bad guy throwing acid is a good guy throwing acid back. acid should be readily available and carried on one's person at all times just in case.

Shooting an acid thrower would have made more sense to me personally, just saying. That way they can't keep throwing it at others. There was just one issue with that...

so, if the teens had been shot after the fact..all is well? no need for laws concerning acid? your solution skips right over the purpose of preemptive regulation.

Why would you need laws concerning acid? I was responding to your response to Bill sarcastically saying we need laws against acid. Your sarcastic response was a play on anti gun regulation so since you already brought guns into it I figured it would make sense to point out had they been carrying they could have ended this all much sooner. You don't need preemptive regulation against knives so don't see why you would need any for acid. There's lotsa dangerous things out there - that's what guns are for.

Another benefit of multi culturalism.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
