We went to SSA office on 06/23 (I didn't check yes on DS-260 for receiving SSN directly) and applied for my SSN. I received my SSN Card on 06/30. I received my green card on 07/03. Just under 14 days from POE.

Now I'm preparing for my driver's licence test and waiting for job offers.

I hope you are all having wonderful time. I'll try to catch up ASAP.

Good luck everyone.

Congratulations!!!! And Good luck !!!

For anybody out there waiting for an interview at the London embassy, based on the spreadsheet provided by @dwheels76, the average wait time from CC to interview is 49 days, based on the last 100 cases for the UK. Working that out achieves nothing but it makes me feel better :D

I was wondering the same thing. I got my CC on the 7th of June. I did not get a July interview. I was scheduled for August so I think the timing is about average with the spouse visas. I guess we will not know for sure because there are so few EB-3 filers who contribute anywhere on this website.

Hello, it does seem take longer to get an interview date if you're not IR1/CR1 visa type..  Here are the E3 visas (From our spreadsheet.. not dwheels76.) who have received an interview date from our spreadsheet..

Took @pjsr 29 days to receive his interview date. He's also from UK. He'll have his interview 71 days/10 weeks from his CC.  So it's very possible to assume you'll have your interview date around 71+ days from your CC..

I hope that is not the case! It's hard to say if it is a trend based on only one piece of information, but I guess time will tell! Thanks for the info though

Hello everyone,

Can someone please tell me if the USCIS immigration fee( green card processing fee) is to be paid when I get to the US or when I'm still in my country?

hi, from what i know it is better to pay the fees before you travel

I rcvd our P4 July 1. NVC not yet sending our paper to embassy so we can't re sched our interview date which is on Aug 17.

We  want to move early our interview date on Aug 7 for kids school preparation in USA but as per Embassy once we move early then they not yet receive docs from NVC so no interview happen. Useless for resched the date more early.

Who i am going to talk aside from NVc rep to ask when they going to send our papers to embassy?

If you pay it after your interview but before you enter the US, they are able to start the green card process right when you enter and you can get the actual card more quickly. Waiting until after you arrive just delays that.

This process never ceases to amaze me, I really can't believe this. My wife and step children attended their interviews today. One snag. They had their medicals on the 24/06. Showed at the Embassy today. THEY CANT FIND THEM!! They think they're in the mail room..."Think"?

They interviewed, were told they are approved pending medicals being found!!! These people.. sheesh... they said it should only be about two days to complete the file then two weeks for everything to be mailed.

Hey all, our case has been approved for expedite the NVC will mail the file to the SA embassy now. I have a question on the I864, as per the NVC site an ink signature is no longer required for the form sent to the NVC. Is it ok then to take a prited signature to the interview or do we still need the original wet signature form, my FIL is sponsoring me. And secondly the embassy needs to see both the Tax transcripts and the W2s, this is fine for our co sponsor, but my husband is the petitioner and will therefore also be giving all the aos info, but we dont have W2 we use 1099, are those acceptable. Thanks in advance!
