Rapid Visa??

I used Rapid Visa to file because I wanted to be sure I had someone to double check my work. I sent them the first package and they checked it and let me know if I was missing anything (I was). They forwarded the package to the USCIS. After my approval, they gave me instructions on what I needed for the NVC stage, but you don't send this package to them. They charged $550 to assist me. They will assist you through the entire process through either phone call, chat, or email.

I used Rapid Visa for my husband's K1 visa and I loved the service. Rapid Visa doesn't speed up the process at all but they definitely make the process of filling out all those papers stress-free. I was quite confident sending my papers off after using their service and did not receive any RFE's.

Depends on your personality; some people prefer to have the control and do their own research, others prefer to lean on professionals and get the answers from them. So while you'll get both answers on VJ, you should do what's comfortable for you.

rapid visa did nothing for me other than review what I provided, I did the work, their guidance while available was not that good

We've done everything ourselves using the guides on here and have had no issues what so ever so far with the K1 & AOS/EAD/AP processes. I'm very OCD about details though and our case was quite straight forward. If your situation is pretty straight forward you can definitely do it yourself. To me Rapid Visa would have been a waste of my money as you still end up doing all the actual work needed and they don't speed up anything. Just my 2 cents.

Whatever "guidance" and answers to your questions Visa Rapid can provide for a quite large fee, Visa Journey can do for free. Just sayin'.

Visa Journey was my library of resource. I did all of the research myself. I totally believe if you want things done right, you have to do it yourself. Unless you are not a paper pencil person and not so organized with paper work. Also if you are not discipline to be a self-starter; then you should pay someone else to do all that for you.

 

I am forever grateful for this website because everyone here on the website is on the same journey as you are. So thank you Visa Journey for providing such a invaluable resource!

That's exactly what we planned to do, and still plan to do! But, for a moment there we were confused like.. maybe we should get help from a professional? But, we are going to stick with our plan and with the advice of most people on here & do it ourselves with the help of you all & the guides on here. Thank you so much.

Hello Everyone

 

I am currently waiting for my interview, well my husband is, who's back in Dominican republic. I am so lost. I did this on my own from start to finish and everything has went smoothly. I sent out the initial I-30 Nov 2017, I have completed all of my paper work and sent everything in. I sent the final paper work to the NVC April 21 2017. I read online it takes 60 days before you can check on the status of the case? I really just want to know when will he get his appointment, this just seems like forever.
