First Scan Date: January 30, 2017

Second Scan Date: May 15, 2017

Embassy: Stockholm (no consular processing though)

Expected CC: end July 2017

In April received a notice requesting proof of my Irish husband's right to reside in Sweden. So basically they want proof that the EU exists

Sorry to hear about your checklist.   Can you share your experience by competing this Checklist Survey .

Thank you for your time in filling out the survey, with your help, this will hopefully help others who are about to submit their file to the NVC. And possibly help the NVC improve their instructions to reduce the amount of cases receiving a checklist.

Thank you,

Thank you, i will give them a call in 2 weeks

Do people receive checklist (if there is any) before 8-9 weeks? Or does it happen even after that?

I think that once your documents are in review that's when you get a checklist, so prob not before 8-9 weeks. When they get to your stuff and if they see something is missing they will send you that MUCH DREADED checklist. Or sometimes they will send you a checklist of documents that you will need to bring directly to the interview which is not too terrible cause at least you don't have to wait another 9-11 weeks! ;)

Thank you so much, that's right actually we sent everything and tried to organize them in the best way so we hope for no checklist

Wish you luck as well

Hi All,

New to this!

Scan date: 4/5/17

Embassy: Dublin Ireland

Expected cc: 20/7/17 or sooner hopefully :)

Does anybody know after CC how long it typically takes to get an interview at ones chosen embassy?

Hi there and welcome!

Interviews usually take place within 30 days of when your interview is actually scheduled. (so aprox within 30 days from when you get your interview letter). It really depends on how many applicants there are at that time and how the embassy handles it.

Check out some info about the US Embassy in Dublin, Ireland: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Ireland&cty=Dublin

Hi everyone,

My NVC case status still showing Action required: Submit requested documents, since the day i submitted my D-260 is this normal? I spoke to NVC reps, they told it's going to be like this until they send the file for review?

Yep, that's normal. Other VJ members have reported that their NVC case status shows "at NVC" and their AOS tab disappears when they got a CC.

We live in Uganda and it is quite expensive for us to call NVC all the time. Approximately how many days after submitting the DS-260 will they begin to process or start counting the 8-11 weeks? Our documents arrived last week, so it was just the DS-260 that was being waited on.
