I had my interview at Fairfax office yesterday. The officer said my case is approved, and now I should wait for DC (I live in DC) to schedule my oath ceremony. Does anyone know about the timelines for oath ceremony?

Hey, anyone knows the latest filling date that already got interview?

My husband had his interview in March, passed, and we have been waiting still for the oath ceremony 🤡

I doubt yours will take as long as our's has been taking, but if anyone else has had their ceremony scheduled, please post here. The wait has been slowly killing us. Literally, one step left and we're in limbo.

Yeah something does not seem right. You should keep calling them and let them know people who are interviewing now are getting oath ceremonies before your husband. I interviewed on July 24 and my oath was on July 31. I know many people who interviewed at the Fairfax office and got oath scheduled the following week. Good luck

Called them a bunch of times since posting this and it's always a new low IQ person with the same responses. "Some offices are more behind than others" "You need to just keep waiting" Yes, we surely have been extremely impatient, waiting since March 🤡

What does your online status say? eg: You have been approved?

Been waiting for the ceremony for ages. Another poster said they had their's right after the interview and they knew of others who also had their ceremony shortly after the interview.

Ah good, at least it shows you have been approved. I know it sucks waiting though. Hope you get an oath date soon.

I attended my interview this morning and the whole process was smooth and efficient. I got there a bit early and as the letter stated you can only go in 15 minutes before you interview so I waited in my car until then. There were around 10 people in the waiting room and the chairs were all social distanced. The officer interviewed me was very nice and professional. I brought all the document I could think of with me and was requested to present my Green Card. It started with English test, then the Civic questions and then the Yes and No questions. At the end of the interview, the officer told me they had a ceremony tomorrow and asked if I could attend. I responded yes and he went to print out the ceremony letter for me. Couldn't be happier that my Oath got scheduled so quickly.

Good luck, everyone!!
