I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but....   Receive Date: 4/5/17 NOA1 Approval: 4/10/17 NOA2 Approval: 8/7/17   Just got it in the mail yesterday!

OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

HI everyone.  I apologize if this has already been discussed but can the beneficiary go to school during the time that they can't work?  My fiance is an electrician back home but will need to go to trade school to get certified in the US.  Wondering if he can do that rather than twiddle his thumbs before he gets a green card.

Mine got approved yesterday 9-14, with an updated this morning that it was approved. NOA1 received date of 4-21. The wait is finally over.

Been a bit quiet the past couple weeks stressing about interviews/medical etc. 

 

Had my interview at 1pm today London embassy and was approved!!! So happy, ready for the next stage of the journey.

I think the general rule is you can't go to school without the green card, but I guess the best thing to do is always contact the specific school or center and see what they have to say about it, just in case...

I found out about visa journey after i sent my i129f. USCIS received my application on April 24. I just received a text and email for RFE. I know i did not include any pictures of us together in the package. I thought passport stamp were all they needed. I hope it's an easy fix. At least the touch my file. It's better that sitting in the dark not knowing what is going on. Best of luck to everyone.

Sorry you got an RFE, hopefully is something easy to fix. But in the meantime, you know what we always say around here: take a look at your package to see if you forgot to check any boxes, letters of intent to marry, TOS for a website where you met... and plan on how to provide more evidence of meeting, if that's even possible.

Ohhh! I thought I was the only one feeling this way...

I called the NVC this week and they told me that they havent received the case... So I think Im gonna wait and call Monday apart from that I feel soooo lost. I dont know whats next, maybe completing the DS160 and gather all the documents could be a good start? maybe?
