It still says "Case Was Received" on both the Case Tracker app and USCIS site. I even have the E-mail and mobile alerts selected for the USCIS site and still, nothing. Informed Delivery isn't available in my area yet so, I just opened my mail box and there it was. Almost had a heart attack.

OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

And, yes, it is frustrating. I get that trends change and what was true for filers even a month before us isn't the case now. But, it really drives you crazy. I had to take a break from VJ for awhile and manage my expectations. It was too much at times. Thanks for the congrats. Hang in there. It WILL happen.

Will do.  It is stories like your that keep us checking dates and mailboxes.  I'm glad it wasn't an RFE!!!  

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Apparently they think a lot of us do. I feel as tho ill be married the day before my funeral at this rate. Its funny cuz the fastest response is when they get your payment. If they let their employee count match their workload we wont have to deal with this.

Refresh my memory... did you get a notice that you have an rfe coming or was it a call to tier 2 that told you. I can't remember.. we called and haven't received a status update on the tracker or email/text saying it was sent. Thanks!

No Tier 2 told me it was requested on Aug 16

Just got an email about an RFE this morning. NOA1 was April 6th. Annoying, but better than the processing answer i have gotten for 3 weeks. Does anyone know if I call if I can get the specifics for the RFE? Basically can i find out what I need before the letter shows up, so that I can reply as soon as it does?

Sorry to tell you, but you'll have to wait for the letter to arrive to know what they are asking for. Hopefully it will be there by the end of the week. Good luck!

They won't tell you specifics, they say there's no way for them to know at the CSR level

Thanks Everyone. I was going to ask for a tier 2 per usual, but I will be patient. It's all I have been able to do thus far. On the plus side then I don't have to speak to any more slow monotone Customer service people or immigration officers.

No nothing yet. Tier 2 said they should send it by Friday. So between Sept5-8.

 

i just mailed my Faye everything she needs for remainder of the process. She has everything she needs now on her end as far as documents.

Well I hope so, maybe by next Friday I will have mine! The officer requested it the Tuesday after yours  ... I feel like calling someone and exercising my freedom of speech, but we all know that doesn't do any good
