Texas Service center

PD June 22

200 days of waiting

No approval, No RFE

put a service request in January 2nd, received an answer January 6th "we have had to perform additional review to your case ". Honestly that's a lie...it's the standard answer for the online service request.

now I Have my immigration congressional inquiry filled, a letter for the congresswoman, a copy of the NOA1, and the screenshots of the evidence cases near mine have been approved already.

BUt now my spouse wants to give uscis more time, wants to wait until February 1st, because basically we put the inquiry the first day of this month, spouse thinks uscis is going to tell us something this month, but anyway our package for the congresswoman is ready.  We are going to give them exactly 24 days since now to sent it to the congresswoman.

That is so funny.... I did the exact same thing.... As soon as I typed my letter the our congressman and was ready to submit I decided to wait and wouldn't you know it.... NOA2 approval only days after. Best of luck!

We got our approval letter in the mail today!!!!   The bad news is I got laid off from my main full time job yesterday :(  I have a part time second job, so i'm having to pickup extra hours there.  I don't know what i'm gonna do at the NVC stage when I have to provide proof of income to meet the minimum requirements.  Will they ask for pay stubs or can I just get away with my tax records?

@eoughphily,

I believe your tax records should be fine as well as your pay Stubbs of the previous months, which you do have... I am sorry to hear and wish you a new job opening asap.

At least I still have 1 of 2 jobs.  Thank you for the input.  It is tax season now, I will have 2017 tax records from filing, but probably not the transcripts.  I'm not sure how quick they are at being able to give me transcripts after filing.
