Im passed my Adjudicated date here on Visa Journey, lest week I called USCIS, was only read what was on the Website.... Are there any other things I can do to try and get an inquiry?????

Not yet, because the estimate date here is not official. USCIS says to send an inquiry when past THEIR processing times... 15th January received date currently :(

No one says you can't try though. Good luck in any case. Hope the letter arrives soon!

Hi Guy's,

Here is our rfe attached. We are confused what they need more? We sent so many pics and airline tickets. Do you have any ideas? My fiancé thinks we sent too much and they want one egsact proof

We intend to send the stamps from our passports pointing at the same date initiating we were crossing the boarder at same tame and same place. And booking from vacation.

Another idea is you can also include a I94 entry/exit travel record print out directly from USCPB website. It is an official source. Personally, I wish I had known about the site before I sent in my petition. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home

VJ timeline dates are estimates and are only based on other VJ members updating their timelines accurately. It's not a factual timeline. You're still in the USCIS grace period for adjudication which is what your case status is truly based on. So it would be a waste of time for you to call.

Yeah, if it is only 3 weeks until you get the case number it really doesn't make sense to call.
So they alert you via email when the case is about to be transferred to the embassy?

Because I want to have my medical at least 2-3 weeks before scheduling the interview, so they have all results in hand already.

Yes, they send an email to the petitioner when they are mailing the packet to the embassy. It contains the case number etc. I used that to create my account on http://cdn.ustraveldocs.com and from there paid my fee etc. Once they receive it I'll be able to use that same site to see my appointment. For the medical I just had to tell them that I had my case number.

Yep, NVC emailed my fiancee last night with the case number. Calling them to harass really won't change anything so we just let it be. You get the email as soon as they send it on to the embassy either way, so you have the case number before it arrives in your country.

I've been wondering if it's really necessary to call.  I will probably just wait as well.

We didn't apply for expedited processing. I'm just guessing that our background checks and everything was super smooth. Being Australian might have made the background checks less intense than for someone from a higher-fraud country.

Yeah I doubt it. Sorry but I think its just luck of the draw. We all know cases aren't done in order. You would think Canada would be an easy country too wouldn't you. I am in a bitter mood. All I do is cry, cry and cry some more. I start work again today and I really could care less. I would be happy just quitting now except I need the money to pay the exorbitant medical fees, a flight a week or more stay in Montreal because they are so bleeping stupid and don't care about us in the middle of Canada. Sorry I should stay away from here and everywhere. *goes back into her hidey hole*

Why the week to stay in Montreal? My interview is 4000km away in Sydney and I'm only planning to be there overnight.

Of course there is luck involved too. Just be glad you've seen your fiance!

Because of the medical. I have 3 choices of where to go Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. I live in Manitoba so either way I pay a flight and a stay. Its actually about the same for me to fly have my medical and stay a week pick it up and have my interview which has to be done in Montreal. Ok ok I have nothing to complain about because I saw my fiance recently I get that. I am done. Hope you all get your NOA2's soon. I think I will just close down here. Thanks all for listening to me and have a great life with your loves. :)

Hi fellow India filer! :)

I wish I could provide you with some encouraging words, but sadly based on how things are currently going its very unlikely that you guys will get an interview by the end of August. Quite honestly, you will be lucky to get your NOA2 by end of August. My NOA1 is March 28th and I'm still waiting - not expecting to hear anything for another couple of weeks at least.

I'm also hoping for the same as for my fiance flying back with me, but I'm going to visit my fiance in September thru beginning of October. And even for us having an earlier filing date, that might not even be possible for us. We will be lucky just to be able to have his interview in September while I am there.

You should expect minimum of 3 months before you see a NOA2 approval. That would put you at July 17th IF they approved it right at the 3 month mark. Some people are getting approvals in 90 days or less, but it's not the norm. It's definitely possible that you will get your approval while you are visiting, but again pretty unlikely everything will be approved in time for him to fly back with you. Once the NOA2 happens it takes about 2-4 weeks for it to get to the NVC then another week or so for the embassy to receive it. Then he will need to book his medical and schedule the interview - when I checked last the New Delhi embassy is a few weeks out on interview dates.

I'm not saying it's impossible, there have been cases where people get lucky by some chance and have their petition approved super early. But you should definitely be realistic about the situation and prepare for the worst case. Make a back-up plan for if it doesn't happen in time while you are visiting just in case it doesn't work out that way.

Trust me, I know how frustrating and agonizing this wait and difficult process is. Just try to be patient, plan for the worst case scenario, and stay positive.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

I would either change the dates of your trip.... Or accept the fact that you probably won't be able to bring him home at that point. It is of course possible if everything went 100% smoothly and in a very timely fashion (ie you get through the NVC stage quickly and your embassy books interviews fast), but Im a mid-February filer (NOA2 May 19) and after waiting a month to get a case number from NVC, I am now waiting while it's in transit to the embassy in Canada, then I can send packet 3 and wait for packet 4.  I'm not expecting to have my interview until very end of July/ first 2 weeks of august, with me leaving 2-3 weeks after that. However, there are a few February filers who have had their interviews already, so you might get lucky!!! It's just so hard to know and plan and I wouldn't want to see you be disapointed.

Wish they would give me a real answer tell me that the center is on cases from January is officially making me crazy.... There are many people on here with dates near and after ours from our same service center. Let me know when you get your approval. It's coming... An Approval

Yeah, today it really bummed and bugged me. Since there was an approval with exactly the same dates yesterday, I dared to put hopes in this morning.
But now I'm fine again and hoping for tomorrow. It's day 102 after received date now, so... PLEASE USCIS <3 Wink wink wiggle wiggle haha
