PS - did anyone else get the alert on the USCIS app today about the system outage and have their heart leap into their throat thinking it was their approval notification?  I think I almost passed out for a moment, haha.

Haha yes last night at 8:00 I got a notification my heart dropped but then I read it and was like of course !!?

Imagine my chagrin when I woke up at 04:10 for work and part of that regimen is to check the daily report and it wasn't there. Darn you CSC. And I didn't get a cup of coffee yet either. I hope for a solid report at some point or I know what type of day it's going to be. Now I gotta find a cup of coffee before we have a structure fire or I'll be cranky all day. I'll keep a good thought for everyone.

Im with you... day 95 for me from NOA1 date and 98 days from recieved date definately didnt think it was going to be this long of a wait... im not even going to check until march. Nothing is worse than seeing case is recieved still...

Aw no don't loose hope yours will be there very soon it is hard to see everyone later then you get there's before you but your time will come!???

Completely confused!

 

so yesterday I told you that my case changed to 'In Transit' yesterday from 'at NVC' for the previous five days.

 

I thought I'd check it - and now it shows as 'Ready' !

 

So - did the ceac not update the case number and it was actually sent to London last week?

 

Also - it shows three case numbers now - I am assuming that as my children's details are on the i-129f they have each been assigned a case number? It is the same case number but with (1), (2) and (3) after it. (Although they won't be coming with me - they will be 18 and 20 when I leave)

 

 

11/07/16    I-129F mailed to Dallas lockbox
11/09/16    i-129F received date    11/14/16    NOA1 Date on Hard Copy Notice    11/15/16    NOA1 Text and Email. Case sent to CSC    11/18/16    NOA1 Hard Copy Received

01/30/17...NOA2 approved per USCIS status update  02/07/17..NOA2 Hard Copy Received   02/15/17 NVC assigned case number  02/16/17  NVC case number received (by phone/scheduled medical)

02/17/17  NVC despatched case to London (In Transit)   02/21/17 Case arrived in London   02/22/17 Status updated to 'Ready'   03/03/17 Letter received from Embassy

03/06/17  Medical (London)   03/17/17  Interview Date (approved)   03/20/17 CEAC status changed to Non-immigrant - Admin Processing   03/21/17 CEAC status changed to ISSUED

03/24/17 VISA IN HAND

07/03/17 POE Toronto (preclearance)/Minneapolis

 

08/26/17 MARRIED

09/13/2017 Mailed AOS package   09/15/2017 USCIS received package   09/19/2017 Email and text notification of receipt and case #s   10/12/2017 Biometrics appointment

10/18/2017 status changed to 'ready to be scheduled for interview'   12/07/2017 raised SR online for EAD   12/18/2017 posted form to Senator to enquire about EAD

12/18/2017 EAD and AP approved   12/23/2017 NOAs received for EAD and AP   12/27/2017 Combo card received   early July - sent renewal forms for EAD and AP

Ive read that it useless, you can call only in NVC process, also I found info that NOA2 could take 180 days... 

do you know, where I can find info about calls to uscis?

Hi Guys!

 

I've been following this forum for a while, all of the posts here have definitely been helpful. This a great group and everyone seems very supportive. I was travelling last week & celebrating my Bday  so wasn't stalking my case status as usual and was honestly trying not to think about it...ugg the waiting game has been painful. :wacko: I returned home last night and upon opening my door there was a letter which happened to be our NOA2, I could not believe it I must of read the letter about 5 times, in addition to checking the app and the website!!!!! :D 

 

Our approval date is 2/16 and I just found out yesterday. It's funny the moment I stopped obsessing over it, we got approved! Life lesson learned though this process for sure.  

 

I hope everyone here gets their approval soon!!!

I have just submitted my ds-160 - and realised i have made a mistake on my divorce date for my previous marriage - I typed in 2001 instead of 2003 - I'm not sure if I made a typo or if I misread it on my divorce certificate (it looks a bit like a 1 rather than a 3).

 

Should I call the embassy or wait until the interview?

Just curious ... why did you add your kids when they don't plan to come with you?
