Protest, Violence Flare Around Inaugural Ceremony

I thought the progressive left was a tolerant lot.  I guess not.

 

Peaceful protests across the country Friday were partially undermined by flares of violence and property damage in Washington, D.C., where two officers were injured and over 200 people were arrested.

Throughout the day in different parts of the capital, police used pepper spray, batons and other crowd-control devices to disperse protesters. Some people vandalized buildings and even set a limousine ablaze as day turned to night and President Donald Trump made his way down the inaugural parade route. 

Protests in other parts of the city ― and the country ― remained relatively peaceful. 

Just an hour before Trump took the presidential oath of office, tweets from D.C. showed people smashing windows at a Bank of America location. A Starbucks was vandalized at the intersection of 13th and I Streets NW.

It was unclear who was actually doing the damage, and the identities of the vandals weren’t released. But police described them as an “organized group” with the sole purpose of destroying property with “crowbars, hammers and asps” about a mile away from the National Mall.

     In a sense you're correct. Clueless fools were indeed the impetus for Trump getting elected. A little boost from the Russians didn't hurt though.

For the record, I wasn't calling you a fool, but I was referring to comments such as yours(as well as everything that stands behind it) being a huge motivator for people to vote for Trump.

 

As far as jerks go...look at the rioters that's where the jerks are(and also the clueless fools I was referring to in my first comment).

Yes, it was all the great uneducated American citizens, plus the help from the Russians.  It's been two months, maybe it is time to realize the DNC ran a crappy campaign with an even worse candidate.

So how do you stand on grouping people according to whatever demographic you choose and expecting those in that demographic to all think the same way?

The moron's resorting to violence hardly represent everyone who recognizes the ignoramus buffoon, with his Cabinet who's net worth combined equals the combined net worth of the lowest thirty percent of American's, is not a man of the People who has anything resembling putting the 'good of the Country' first.

 

I think one his very valuable demographics has so far been left out of this thread.

Your jealousy over Trump's wealth doesn't seem to extend to Hillary, Obama, and the like.  You realize Obama will make more every year for the rest of his life than the majority of Americans, just for waking up and taking a leak?
