I would think so but they aren't mentioned for our age group. I went to the health clinic and had my full record printed and gave that to them at the medical

I'd maybe ask your doctor about receiving them

I kind of don't want the vaccine if I don'T need it haha. That is my struggle, but if they let you out I probably can go get the shot at a drugstore instead of the clinic -_- . And if I need to pay the big price there ...I will, at this point it is not a couple hundred that will make the difference :P

Hi there. How are you? Are they assigning the interview date or are we allowed to choose (based on what's available?)

You can go to the appointment website and once you see a date available just click on it.  If the embassy gets your case soon you might be able to get an interview in July.  Right now they have July 26, and 31 available.

Thanks for the info, still some weeks before we at interview stage. I just wanted to know so my fiance can figure out when to apply for leave to come for the interview!

No problem.  You do know that only the beneficiary is allowed in the embassy for the interview right?

No I didn't because in past they were allowed in the waiting area but you the beneficiary were the only one they would interview.

Well maybe they still allow them in the waiting area. I don't know about that but yes only you would be doing the interview. In the packet 3 it says only if have some type of disability and need someone to assist you then you can bring someone with you to the embassy.

Lol yeah that's true. I'm not sure because I've had all of them done so that some why I didn't encounter an issue. I'm really not 100% on weather you needed previous ones mentioned for other age groups. Maybe it is just them ones listed for ours.

Thank you. I found it and it says "No Status".   File created 6/19/17.  I'm sure it varies per country but how long does it take to change to "ready" and what must one do?  We've already completed the DS160, have a medical appt, and was told to call back for an interview appointment because the August schedule wasn't available yet.  Is there anything else? Am I missing any steps?

thanks again.

I'm not sure if I can help you out here. Some countries are part of the new system where they sent the petition electronically to the embassies which takes 2-3 days and then their cases say 'ready'. I'm from Germany and I'm part of this new system thing.

Now I have to wait for package 3 which contains a checklist of things I've to send back to them. Once they receive it I'll get a package 4 in form if an email or so that says I can schedule my interview appointment. It varies from country to country. You should check the US embassy website of your country since u can't really help you out here because I've no idea how things work over there :( I am sorry. Call the embassy and ask If your petition has arrived yet and what the next steps are

Thank you very much!! June 1st he booked both medical & interview.. June 6 was his medical and June 23 was his interview so it was enough time to reach to the embassy.. the hospital isn't so far from the embassy so it gets there pretty quick the doctor told him.. they no longer do medicals in Montego Bay.

Awesome!!!! Yeah, I know they do them in Kingston, which means my fiancé will have to take the bus 3-4am in the morning because he's 3 1/2 hours from Kingston. But I see you guys scheduled his medical a good enough time for it to get to the embassy before his interview so that they had everything!!!

One more question...how did your fiancé get packet 3? Email or DHL?

If you don't mind, I might message you later on down with questions after we get our NOA2. You guys are a good reference for us to use! :D
