Hey everybody! ✌?️

 

Newbie hereee! I've been cruising through the website for a hot minute! I decided I would join once I sent my K-1 petition off which was yesterday ? 01/06/17.

 

I didn't see anybody make a new thread for all the January 2017 filers if there are any out there!! Please join me in the anxiety and impatience of waiting! That way I won't feel so alone for this month. LOL

 

Me and my best friend have actually filed for both of our petitions at the same time (She is doing a K-3, me K-1; we are hoping they both are able to come at the same time but hmmm looking at timeline I'm not so sure! ) ?? Lovely story about how we all met lol btw...

 

Anyway I look forward to seeing if anyone else has sent their petition or is getting ready to!! ???

Joining the January 2017 I-129F crowd... I sent my I-129F packet to USCIS Lewisville, TX facility on January 6, 2017 via FedEx. It should be there the morning of Monday, Jan 9. So the journey begins!

  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 text and email 
  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 date on hard copy notice
  • 04/28/17 --- NOA2 notification
  • 05/16/17 --- NVC received date
  • 05/17/17 --  NVC case # 
  • 05/19/17 --  NVC file on transit
  • 05/22/17 --- Embassy Instructions via email

Hello Everyone  , I know it's alone been 11 days since I sent I129f off   but this waiting  game is is literally nerve wrecking .I know  being  patient is the key but it's really difficult.We are praying for NOA1 by ending of month ,in meantime I will continue to post my nervousness  lol !!!

11 days seems longer than the average time it has been taking lately. It's been almost as long for me. By reading the November filers' forum, there appears to be an inordinate delay in processing past NOA1, so perhaps there is a general slowing down?

Yep... seems very slow. My package was delivered morning of Jan. 4, still haven't heard anything.
