Sorry this is probably something that has been asked but I can't find it anywhere!!

 

I just called NVC and got my case number. I checked the status and it says "At NVC", which is what the woman told me.

 

My questions:

1. How will I know when it gets sent to the Embassy? What will the status say? 

2. When can I make my appointment? What will the status say?

 

Again, sorry if this is a redundant post! And thanks, of course, for your help!!!

Guys,  do the US Citizen needs the CENOMAR when my fiance will have her interview innthe Philippines?

we are confuse because some people said she have to bring 2 CENOMR's with her.

I have a question... How long does it usually take to receive Packet 4 after sending Packet 3? My case says "READY" since Jun 19th. I sent Packet 3 required documents to Montreal via email on Jun 23, but still haven't received Packet 4. It's been a week  Is this normal? Should I send it again?

 

BTW, I haven't received anything directly from the Consulate in Montreal. Should I expect anything besides Packet 4?

I am on the same boat, but I sent everything on the 19th and still nothing. I have received an email confirming they received my email and should answer within 10 business days normally.

Hi guys, tomorrow Friday is going to be the 59th day since USCIS received my response to their RFE. They asked me to wait for 60 days before I call them again. Any chance they would help me tomorrow, especially weekend and July 4th are coming...

I would try it out, it's not like they keep count of when you call or not. They told me it can take up to blabla and not call at NVC, and I still called and they kept repeating the same message

Yesterday my NVC case status moved from "at NVC" to "Ready" then back to "at NVC". This morning is "in Transit".

My fiance said just one CENOMAR, a recent one should do.  Not sure why they would say two. Her interview is 7/7

I have seen in the past that others received it within 12 hours, but I'm wondering if they are being extra slow right now as mine was "in transit" for over a week before switching to ready (and as I am part of the new electronic process I assume it was really just waiting for a person to physically enter and process the info). I did see in this thread last week that another Canadian received her packet 4 after a 5 day wait.  

 

I have also read from an older thread that some people had to re-submit their packet 3, as "ready" didn't seem to always mean ready.  If you go and track your case in the ceac site, does it still say June 19 for case last updated??

As of yesterday yes! I would agree with you about the being very slow. I know the 24 is actually a Holiday in Quebec City...It is not said that they were observing it on the Friday on the consular website, and it says they are observing Canada Day on the 3rd, and then the 4th. It would make sense that some people actually also took some vacations, so they might be short on staff  . Lucky us, after having to wait so long for all the rest, we are now waiting longer as well because we are hitting people's vacations.

Does anybody know what the invoice number is for? From NVC.. I was so excited to get the case number that I didn't bother to ask what we need the other number for

 

Also, on the DS-160, it asks do you have any immediate family living in the States, would my fiance need to add me on there or is it for other family?
