That's correct. Call 14 days from now to get your case number. Actually sometimes case numbers are available after 12 days.

I spoke to an agent at NC today to check on a few items for which I had not received any email updates. They confirmed that my case had gone to supervisor review (removal of requirement to send Japan police certificate to NVC) and had been approved in 3 days and that my last materials were received on 11/28. She then threw in that it would take UP TO 6 weeks to finish the review.

The agent sounded very tired - so I just said - thank you that's great news.

Be nice to the agents !!!

Has anyone made it to the 6 weeks and got CC without having to do supervisor review? It seems like everyone is passing the 6 week mark..

It looks like only the electronic processing people are getting CC in less than 6 weeks. They are getting it in less than 6 days!

So my question is....if every case gets to supervisor review before CC, what are the non-supervisors doing? They don't seem to be completing any cases.

Exactly... I am on the fence about calling to request the Supervisor Review, really don't want to delay the process anymore. I am 2 months shy of 1 year with this whole process.. would have been quicker if we just built a boat and sailed over.. lol . Congratulations again when are you traveling?

I called in this morning to check and see if my missing document from yesterday had been received yet (it hadn't), but she did put my case through to supervisor review. Hoping that once they finally look at everything, there won't be anything else missing. The operator was very nice and understanding, and didn't rush her explanation or anything, so I was appreciative of that.

Just out of curiosity...how many people on this feed are in Supervisor Review? My case will hit 6 weeks at midnight tomorrow. I am really wondering if Supervisor Review speeds up or hurts the processing time.
