Congratulations

Thanks! I was so worried about a RFE! My fiances passport photo was slightly smaller on one side, but apparently it wasn't an issue. Now next time for the medical and everything we'll definitely make sure it's accurate, but it wasn't an issue! I hope everyone else gets good news too!

Since I am the sponsor you mean Grace who is traveling here as the beneficiary needs to hand write or type a letter?   Can she email it? I could then print it out here.

You both need to sign a letter of intent to marry. You can find an example form here http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples/

I think it needs to be singed so she needs to do that and send it to you per mail. That's at least what we did. Maybe tell her to do that right now so that you have it once you get the RFE.

Yes it definitely needs to be hand signed. My fiance sent me that plus a couple other forms, I actually included the envelope she sent it in in my packet as evidence.

make sure you check today!!!!

Hi. Thanks! Still the same status though. We only check on a weekend and try to forget it as much as possible, but easier said than done. I saw a Dec 28 just got approved. Happy for them of course. Just that I feel the same as most of us waiting for the NOA2 feels.

Hi guys.

It's been 2 weeks since our case was approved but NVC still doesn't receive it yet.

Do you know if there's some delays or maybe this is just normal?

Thanks for your help

Anyone have an NOA1 of 12/9 or before who is still waiting on a response? :(

I'm pretty certain there are a few, and even a handful of November filers still waiting.

I guess they are really trying to test our patience by making some of us wait a bit longer. :clock:

it really has been testing our patience, the even more concerning thing is that the US Embassy in Cairo is one of the ones that take a while to get an interview scheduled or have any correspondence with them in general after your case reaches the embassy, so I am already seeing that it will be a long road ahead :(

I hope we both receive our NOA2 approvals this week. I wouldn't even mind an RFE so much at this point. How long is the average wait time for an interview in Cairo? I know in Morocco, it's about 1-2 months after the consulate receives the case. I also have fear of a long period of AP after the interview in the back of my mind, just because of the region we are dealing with. Even though I feel that my case is fairly strong, you just never know what could happen. I guess all we can do for now is to keep waiting...
