Hi everyone! I know someone might have already asked this but call NVC after 2 weeks of NOA2 or wait the 4-6 weeks they said? And anyone from mexico that is going to the Cuidad Juarez Consulado?

Yes you can start calling after 1-2 weeks after your NOA2 approval. 

Mine took 3 weeks until the NVC got my case. I called both Non Immigrant (603) -334-0888  & Immigrant side (603) 334-0700.

Call everyday after two weeks.  Call the non-immigrant number and have your USCIS receipt number handy.

I started calling last week, I will call later this week.  I plan to call every 3 or 4 days until they tell me they got the case.. LOL.

 

And I will go to CDJ, I will have to get medical/biometrics done in Mexico City thou.

 

I really hope they hurry!

That's awful. I've seen in the past weeks that the average was 2 weeks 3 top, but 4 weeks is a lot.  I hope they receive our cases soon, I am so anxious now.

Hi Dear They finally received it Yesterday which is 3 weeks and 4 days and I got my case number today. 

They will receive yours as well.. doubt it will pass 3weeks , gotta keep calling them !

Finally Got Our Case Number From NVC

On The U.S Department of State Website ; Visa Check Status... We Are Considered as a Immigrant Visa ... Interesting! 

So when we actually go to the consulate for our interviews are we considered as a Immigrant Visa Applicant as well ? Or Non Immigrant Visa  Applicant ?

Ahh our case is one of the 20 remaining untouched cases out of the original 400+ for December 19. Not sure if we are just super unlucky or if there is something wrong/going on with my petition. I hope our case gets touched soon so I can get some sleep instead of waiting up past my normal bed time to wait for the usual flurry of updates. 

Thanks as always for the daily updates, and I wish everyone who is still waiting a speedy NOA2 and/or a quick wait for your case numbers from the NVC.

Hopefully you find this information useful as I didn't see anyone post about it. We had the following happen with our petition from NVC & State Department:

 

1. @ NVC

2. In transit

3. Ready (@ Guangzhou)

4. Administrative Processing

 

We got scared when the CEAC said AP. However the good news is it was about the consulate sending my fiancé her courier envelope with Packet 3. So don't freak out like we did when it says AP after it arrives at your consulate. 

 

Hope someone out there finds this reassuring.

I feel your pain. Ours is one of the 30 from December 14th that has not been touched. I am going a little crazy. Really tempted to to see my fiancee next month.

I feel your pains too. Dec 15 with nothing. I did call USCIS today and they said they updated the visa processing times sheet, she says they update the 15th or near this every month. She said the date of February on top is confusing to people but she assured me they are only touching November cases... But we all know this not true because many people in January are being approved.

Ya you should have told them you know for a fact they're wrong. I'm a December filer and got approved already.
