Vermont is taking about a year for ROC so they are very behind. You have to be patient.

I'm a little amazed you are thinking of returning to the Philippines just because your ROC has taken 5 months.....

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I am thinking to go back to my country because of these stressful process, I am legaly entered here and I remembered in my first year that I need a doctor they denied me because I don't have green card that time, and I heard and learned that alot of illigal immigrants here and they had all these benifits from Government.

I am working now and helping thru my taxes to those lazy and illigal immigrants, I am glad that I can help the real needy person.

I hope these words will not offend anyone.

Thank you for your time

We filed our ROC on May 2, 2016 and it went to CSC. We still have not heard anything either and I had to take a job overseas. We also had to file for a re-entry permit since my work will be quite awhile out of the country. Both forms are still pending with USCIS. Just give it time, as long as you have the extension letter we have not had any issues.

Oh my gosh! So this is normal awaiting time, now I had an idea, what I'm going to do 1 month before my card expire have to infopass to get stamp because I don't want to lost my job.

Thanks guys

the waiting time is always over 6 months but it can take longer, so if you haven't gotten your GC a couple of months before your extension expires, then you make an infopass appointment and stamp your passport for a second extension of 1 year

^^^ Exactly this !!!!

There are numerous recent threads in this forum speaking about the SAME issue as you present. Please take a moment to review some of these threads from similarly situated folks and observe the common remedy used.
