Help! Age difference for k1

Search Morocco Age Difference. A lot of stories here some good, some hard. Found this one:

"I'm 21 years older than my husband and we were approved in a day by the Moroccan consulate. Age difference alone is not a red flag. USCIS knows your ages when they approve your case to go to the consulate, so that can't be used against you "just because". But age can be considered if additional negative information is found by the CO's that makes age difference seem to be a factor. "

Good luck

I came back today after being gone for a time and see one of my old posts being quoted. Nice to know I still have some cred lol

K-1approval requires that you met your fiancee within the past two years, and have no problems (legal, criminal, etc) that could disqualify your application. I have had two previous Russian wives, my Russian fiancée has been married twice too, and she was 30 and I was 53 when I filed our K-1. Along with the forms I included only copies of two emails, one bad black and white Photocopied photo, airplane ticket stubs and a few Russian receipts, and a few sentences describing my previous two marriages, and requesting a third attempt. Our application was quickly approved.

If I may ask, you said you had 2 previous Russian wive's, that means your filing your 3rd petition with USCIS now for your current fiancée?

OP, some embassies are harder than others. Age differences (especially with an older lady, younger man...my situation as well, btw, it's definitely rarer in pretty much all countries as opposed to the older man, younger woman situation) could be seen as a red flag as others have stated. But even that, you might just end up with an extra scrutinizing CO...you never know.

Like TBone said, just because other people on here with age differences have been approved in the past doesn't guarantee that'll everything will be smooth sailing for you too....I would be cautious and just try to bring as much extra relationship evidence as possible. It's always better to be very well prepared, especially if anything in your application seems out of the norm. Best of luck!

This isn't really relevant to OP's situation though, because again he is a man younger than her children and it is a MENA country. Yes, it is a double standard, but especially in non-first world countries, being in a hetero couple in which the woman is old enough to be your mother is going to require additional evidence and perhaps more difficulty.

So her youngest is 20, how old is her oldest child, older than you?

I realize this is subjective, but how is she in the looks department? Healthy, fit, looks way younger than her years?

I think she should come post on the forum so we can help her with some of the filing questions.

Yes she is 44 yo but she looks too way younger than her age and looks very nice.

Yes she will come to post or let her use my account for further more questions and help.

Thanks a lot :)

There is a 14 year difference between my fiancee Duong and I. She is 26 and I am 40. Our fiancee visa petition was approved by USCIS this month. I would advise you to go with the petition and make sure you have evidence of ongoing relationship such as phone call records, chat logs, ticket stubs of your travel to visit your fiancee. Wish you the best of luck.

Thank you so much for the advice. Good luck for both of you :)

OP you have a chance. It is hard to go through this embassy for anyone. Casablanca is a strict embassy because of so much fraud. However, CR1 might be better and it might not be. K1 may work for you. You don't know until you try. Many people have been approved by only meeting once for a short period of time and being much older than their future husband from Morocco. but I have met 5 or 6 couples through VJ that are much older than their fiance. That had no problems at al. I know many just by posts that are the same age and were denied. No matter which way you go evidence is what the CO wants to see. The CO like any other country wants to know your relationship is real. Just be prepared for a lot of questions no matter which route you go. No one can tell you if you will or will not be denied. Some people with the most solid cases are denied. Unfortunately, that is what happens with Middle Eastern and North African countries. They are high fraud and tough for a reason.

Yes that's true, Casablanca is a tough embassy and also what you said about fraud from my country.

We will work on making more evidences and meetings and hoping for the best.

Thank you so much for this good piece of advice :)

You will need to prove that your relationship is real. And because you're from Morocco it's much harder than if you were from Europe or the Philippines. Adil and Jeanne offered you good advice and have a lot of experience in a similar situation. They were approved but I don't believe it was easy/fast for them. I'd visit the Morocco portal and read some of the other posts. I'd also read the embassy reviews. As stated above, it's a tough embassy but no one can accurately predict how your specific case will go. Good luck

Exactly. I'm really very thankful to you all :)

Me and my husband's age difference is 8 years, we made it. It'll be fine as long as the relationship is proven genuine. Just do your best to show all proof and evidence.

Thank you and Congratulations, wish you a very happy life together :)

Welcome back, hope you're doing well, and thanks a lot for sharing your helpful experience :)

What happens in Germany, Vietnam, and the Philippines has no bearing on what happens in Casablanca.

In fact, what happens in the Philippines has no relation to what happens anywhere else.

To avoid further irrelevant answers, this country-specific thread is moved from the K-1 Process forum to the Middle East/North Africa regional forum.

Right. Thank you sir
