has anyone got a definitive checklist I can use once we have of stuff we need to pull together once we have NOA2?

I'm only familiar with the Philippines after NOA 2 and NVC and since each embassy is a little different you might want to start here:

Hope this helps and let's see USCIS pump out some NOA 2's for us November folk starting next week something else to truly give THANKS for.

I sent I-129F on 14th, and the tracking shows that the packet arrived yesterday (15th). Waiting for sms/email of NOA1 :)

Hello everyone! I sent my I-129F petition 10.31.16. I would be considered a November filer, right?

Welcome aboard J & T. Yes you are a November filer. I think that most go off of the NOA1 priority date. My filing date is the same as yours. Keep us updated on your status as you go through the process, it helps us all to see where other similar filers are.

I lived in music city for 3 years! Miss it sometimes.

Hey guys i just received an update from the app that im using it triggered the closest date to our application wooohooo cali is processing october 12 filers ???

10/27/16 - I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX
11/01/16 - Delivered at Lewisville, TX
10/31/16 - NOA1 Text and Email. Case sent to CSC
11/04/16 - NOA1 Hard Copy Received
01/13/17- NOA2 Text and Email  **wohhoooo 76 days**
01/20/17 - NOA2 Hard Copy Received 
01/27/17 - Embassy Received. Case status set as Ready
02/07/17 - Medical ( Passed!!!!)
02/23/17 - Interview (APPPRRROOOOVVEEDDDDD)
02/24/17 - Visa Issued

02/28/2017 - Visa in Hand =)

04/03/2017 - Pick up our doggy passport for our fur child
04/06/2017 - Arrived in USA!!!

04/24/2017 - Applied for SSN

04/28/2017 - SSN arrived, got a state ID card and opened bank account

06/05/2017 - Passed the DMV test! Yey I can drive. 

06/09/2017- Our Wedding 

06/30/2017 - Submitted our AOS packet 

07/05/2017- Check got encashed and notification that they received our packet 

07/11/2017 - received a text and email for NOA1 

07/17/2017 - hard copy of NOA 1 received in the mail for (EAD, AP and AOS)

08/04/2017 - biometrics scheduled

You may want to adjust your VJ Timeline to show CSC - california service center as Texas is just the lock box.

You should have some news regarding your NOA 1 next week.

Glad I found this thread!! So nice to see similar timelines.

We just sent our papers last Sunday (Nov. 14) and FedEx said it was received in Lewisville today (Nov.16). So most probably expecting the NOA1 (text/email and hardcopy) by next week?

Hopefully, all goes well for us November babies. Can't wait for the following steps but I know I have to sit tight and be patient.

So a little update on ours. We ended up not filing a new I-129F petition because, as a pure shot in the dark, I emailed the US embassy in London asking if we could just go ahead and resume our case. They emailed back saying given the information furnished, to go right ahead and submit the DS-160. Apparently, according to a very knowledgeable friend of mine, the reason for this is because the I-129F was approved in the first place. If it was NOT approved and we withdrew it, we'd have to start again. But because it WAS approved - we can just pick up where we left off!

So anyways I submitted the DS-160 and the CEAC case status with the immigration box ticked (apparently this is what you do for K1) is showing the status as 'Ready' with the last update as 2 days ago! Gonna book medical and interview soon!
