I have one question regarding the check. Are there any requirements for whose account should be used for the payment? Can the check be issued by someone else, not me, my fiance nor our family? Actually we would like to use my friend's account with whome I don't have any legal reletionship with.

Hi Grzesiek,

My fiancé and I filled out our form in other country and then sent it to my fiancé's mom to attach the check. The check was on her name. It was no problem with our packet, USCIS already recieved it. From my experience, I don't think that it is going to be any problem in your case.

Hope this might help you.

The K-3 visa

Long ago it would take 12-18 months for CR-1 spousal visa. Those days are over. You may save 30-50 days off the CR-1 process. Let us know how it goes.

On 11/18, we received a notice that our I-129F was being transferred to another location. Finally received the transfer notification which states our case was transferred to NBC. I can't find any information about I-129F petitions being processed or transferred to NBC.

Does anyone have a similar situation or know anything about I-129F processing times for NBC?

NBCs primary mission is to prepare immigration applications for adjudications that require an interview at a USCIS Field Office. Preparing such an application requires considerable time and effort, including background and security checks and reviewing evidence to support eligibility.

Were you responding to my post about our I-129F being transferred from CSC to NBC?

If so, I guess I don't understand what you mean. Our initial filing date was 10/31/16. On 11/14/16, we received NOA 1 and 11/18/16, text notification of transfer with subsequent transfer noticed received in the mail on 11/25/16 stating case transferred to NBC. The notice said, "We transferred this case because the record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case."

Since NBC's online processing times don't include this type of application, I guess we just have to wait and see.....?

I had my ex-wife's k-1 processed back in 2004 and I've never heard of this happening. Do you have a criminal record and or is your fiancee already here in America.

These are the only two reasons why I can possibly think that your case would be transferring from the California service Center .

Hello welcome to the thread . Nothing further is needed for I 129F regarding child of beneficiary . They just need to list the child's name data birth other parents name etc. as requested on form . The birth certificate will be needed prior to the interview however .child's visa will be considered k-2 and does not require a separate I 129f
