Hi everyone. We just got married yesterday. We're planning to go in San Francisco via plane since some of my relatives is there. Were worried cause I don't have yet any ID here aside SSN card. I check the DMV website and I don't have yet their requirements aside on my passport with my maiden name. I didn't update yet my new ssn change name since I don't have yet our marriage certificate.

We wanna apply for a state ID asap. Any help or guide will be very much appreciated

Is this a question about getting a state ID, or what to do about identification to fly? You said you don't have all the requirements to get a state ID, so I don't know what anyone here can do about that. You can use your passport to fly. Book the ticket in your passport name if you're using your passport to identify yourself.

You'll just use your passport to fly.

You're in California, right?! All you need to do is go to DMV with your foreign passport and something to show that you're a resident of California, like a rental agreement, pass the tests and then you're good to go. You know that as a California resident, you're only allowed to drive on your foreign driver's license for 10 days?!

wait for the marriage license and then apply for the SS card and state ID

all you need to fly within the US now is your passport / you just can not leave the country yet including going on a cruise

You can still travel using your single passport with NO problems po. My wife did the same thing when we flew to NC from California.

Your Pilipinas passport is your ID to fly. Book the ticket in your maiden name.

Not is not what I read on their website. It says you can drive with your previous residence jurisdiction issued ID but need to apply CA driver's license once you become a permanent resident.
