In other news: i just checked my case status and it says "New card is being produced. On August 30, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number xxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us."

Congratulations!! So happy for you guys.

The "Check case status " page is down since 2pm today . i received notification on my phone that case status changed , tought its approval  , but it turned out they washed out all the info in their system , since then the page is down. :protest:

I just checked the Case Status page. It is working and I did not find any change for our case status.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Hey, folks. I submitted my application to VSC office in Apr. My biometrics appt notice has two receipt # on it: one doesn't work in the website (keep saying validation error blabla) and the other still says "On April 18, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received". Does everyone in VSC has the same issue?

Hey Yelu. ALL of us at VSC have the same status. And, yes, you need the SECOND receipt number (only) to check your status.

We just have to wait. And wait. And wait.....

This is a dumb question but how did you check your status online? I have tried entering all the numbers on the NOA1 after getting approved for the extension on April 11, 2016. I also tried the application numbers on the biometrics letter which I did on May 6th, 2016.

I have not received any updates yet and I have gotten no where by calling USCIS. No one seems to be able to track anything by any of these application numbers. Its just been so long since Ive applied for the ROC. I have not moved, haven't gone anywhere. I check my mail on time but still there is nothing.

How did you check your status online? Meaning what application number did you use ?

Ok so I just checked with all the application numbers I could find and one number worked. and the status has nothing there. it just says this:

On April 11, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC*****857, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by May 11, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This doesn't mean anything! I already did the biometrics and the letter just said that I have another year extension...

Anyone?

This is totally normal, Serena. If you are at the VSC, you will probably receive NOTHING until December, at the very earliest. And yes, you check your status with "Application #2 Number" from your Biometrics Letter.
