Looks like CSC has not approved anyone for the past 2 weeks. Jan 2016 - CSC is almost all done. But no more Feb or March applications have been approved in the past 2 weeks. Come on wake up CSC!!!

I wonder why there seems to be a slow down in the number of approvals. :clock:

I spoke to a friend who works for USCIS Nebraska and he says that the fear of President Trump being elected has increased filings by almost 200%. I am hoping there is no workload transfer from VSC anytime soon!

It could be any of those things. What I really believe is that USCIS is woefully inept and inefficient. It took my LEGAL husband to obtain his LEGAL residency nearly TWO years after we had been living together for three years. And we had no red flags.

We always hear all this talk about "immigration reform", but it only ever has to do with illegal immigrants. What about the people coming here legally who have to navigate a confusing process and wait years to be approved? Not even mentioning the amount of money it takes to apply! No wonder people come here illegally, they make it nearly impossible to enter legally!

I just received a text from USCIS that my case status changed. Checked online, and VOILA!

"NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!"

So happy! The waiting game was a bit too much, but keep the faith, friends! It will surely pay off!

Still no news from VSC applicants at all, right? :-( It's been a lil over half a year, man....

I don't expect any news until March 2017 at the earliest. You'd think approval rates wouldn't be so lop sided, but this is USCIS we're talking about!!
