I am a 23 year old girl with a well paying job in Nigeria. I met a guy on facebook(An American) 2 years ago. We have been talking for that period time.

Recently, we decided to take our relationship to the next level and he is inviting me over to the US for the summer holiday.

I will include in my application, his letter, as well as passport, and Bill payment receipts. On my part, my statement of account will be included as well as a letter from my office and my leave letter.

Is there any other thing I will need include? What are my chances of getting the visa considering the fact that we have never met before?

hi

you don't need nothing of his, you must show strong ties to your country, you have to convince the immigration officer that you will return to your country

he has nothing to do with your tourist visa,

of course you have to be truthful when asked about the purpose of your trip

There's nothing you can do to increase the chance. I had well paying job back in my country as well and included all the docs including bank statement, credit cards billing statements, letters from my work, and my property certificate. Everything was in order.

After the CO asked me who I was going to visit which was my-then-boyfriend (my now husband), she refused

my B-2 visa application and stated that we had to file K-1.

Just tell the truth and see what happens. Good luck and keep us posted.

b2 visa is hard from Nigeria your boyfriend might as well just go to Nigeria and visit you there to make things easier for yall , no point wasting money just to get denied a b2 visa , even if you said you were just visiting a friend , because your young , they'll deny you , they usually approve ppl in Nigeria with ppl who have families , my gf wanted to visit me in the US just for 2 weeks ha and she still got denied under lack of ties so , good luck

These are currently my only evidence of ties since I do not own a property here and I still live in my parents house.

1.Letter from my office

2.My leave letter

3.I got promoted 2015 October (promotion letter)

4. Bank statement.

I haven't met him in person . I hope this is not going to be a problem, because I got bothered after reading from this link.

That site is terrible.

If thats the ties you have then thats what you take with you to the interview.

Answer any questions honestly.

Thats all there is to it, nobody here can help increase your chances.

Let us know the result.

Even if you apply for a B2 to visit a BF you have not met, he's still a BF and the whole purpose of your visit.

You will likely not get the visa to do so, even with the items you have as proof, which isn't much at all and his items you want to include will

hinder not help. You have to show that you stand on your own 2 feet with ties and finances.

Save the money and let him come visit you instead, see your country, meet your family and gather evidence of that visit

for a future K1 if he wants to petition you.

Your chances are zero for a B2, especially not because your country is Nigeria. Sorry !

There is no such thing as an invitation letter for a visitor visa!!! Where do people get this idea??????? You must apply and be approved on your own merits, and your merits ALONE. A single woman from Nigeria with a US boyfriend has about a zero chance of getting a visitor visa to the US, even with very very strong ties to home(which you do not have).

People assume that the US is like other countries. In order to obtain a visa to Algeria, I had to get an invitation from who i was staying with. If I was just going to visit the country on a vacation they told me I would have to prove what hotel I was staying and all that kind of information.

Good Luck! because that what your gonna need. Before I married my spouse my ministry invited him to come to the USA to preach. We submitted bank statements to cover his time of stay, proof of ticket, lodging, ect. His church also showed a $25,000 bank statement, employment letter ect. and he was still turned down.

However every case is different.
