Hi guys We finally got our interview date for Feb 16th after around 6 months of waiting . I have one questions What is the most recent tax year now ? is it 2014 ? since it took so long for us , all we gave them was the 2014 2013 2012 tax return , Since our interview is on Feb 16th ? Do I need to get 2015 tax return ? or not ?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you won't have to submit anything new as 2015 taxes aren't required to be filed until April 18th.

Hello everyone. Again help needed. Just one month away for interview but one problem came up. Long time ago, husband lived in dubai for 2 years. So now they need police clerance certificate from dubai too. Its really impossible to get pcc. Any suggestions in this matter??

If it is truly impossible (for example, if <country> will NOT issue a PCC to someone who is not currently living there), then you need to find where this is written down, copy it, and send it to NVC, or carry it to the interview.

Often NVC will ask for something that they THINK you should have, but that is impossible to get (because the country won't do it). If you can prove that you cannot get a PCC from Dubai, then they should accept that, with proof.

Good luck!

My case complete date is 27th October. We requested for expedite which was denied on the 7th of dec . We're tired of calling nvc and never even did we get such long detailed response from them like you got. And they dont speak about either they have scheduled for Feburary or not.

I am expecting for interview letter next week and interview in Feb somewhere in the middle to End. Wish for the best.

Hi thanks for your fast answer . Long story , we are from Iran , because there is no US embassy in Iran we have to go to other countries which are close to Iran , they assigned our case number for Ankara ,Turkey embassy , we have been waiting for almost 5.5 months for our Interview without any chance , then I went to my congressman And asked them to change our us embassy from Ankara to another country which is Dubai , UAE now , And they finally gave us our interview date.

Thanks.
