My case took 13 days for the number and iin to be aassigned. I did call every day around 10 pm est. it was not too long wait to speak with the customer service person. I hope it helps.

Just called the NVC. It has not been given a case number yet. It has only been there 8 days so I guess I will call back in 4-5 days.(: Chin up everyone. We willget through this! :luv:

Do you know when the earliest we can get the case number is? It has been just over a week since it was received. And do I just follow the instructions when it says "Click X to get Invoice number"

I don't know if it's right or not but I always pushed 7 to get my case number, and they gave it to me. Now I'm pushing 2 to choose my agent.

My scan date was 21st Aug and still no case complete. I'm so sad right now. :(

I was hoping for a November interview. :(

Hey! You didn't hear anything back from them? You didn't get a checklist? Are you calling them daily to see what's up with your case, why it hasn't been approved yet?

Our Scan date was 3rd sept still no cc.

Been calling NVC daily. They said our review date was 28th Sept. What does that mean? Wouldn't our case be complete by now if that was the review date? Should I expect a checklist? They said they received another letter from us and our scan date was 24th. Argggh! :ranting: . We sent a copy of passport a day after we sent the other AOS package just to be sure and it took more than 20 days to get there? We have called several times begging them to ignore the last mail because it contained a doc already int he other package. They said they couldnt.

Basically we just lost 20 days!!

So frustrating!

People dont get stressed or worried I am in 65th day from the document scan date of NVC and havent received any checklist or case complete been calling them every day since 30 days passed but of no use just keep calling them till you dont get case complete and dont loose hope wish you all best of luck :)

They always say that, don't worry. Just call back next week and ask again for your case number and IIN. Did your status on uscis page change? For me it showed when the case was actually sent to NVC, BUT not everyone's status changed there.. Maybe it's worth checking :)
