~~moved to US embassy and consulate discussion from Ir1/CR1 process and procedures. OP is addressing the NVC however this is about an interview date so more appropriately belongs in this forum~~

You understand that the the NVC cannot book you an interview date until the embassy gives them dates to give out. Getting mad at the NVC when their hands are ties is insane. It's like being mad at a car in front of you for not moving when there was an accident 3 miles down the road and no one is moving.

It's only been 2 and a half weeks since you got your CC. Many people haven't gotten an interview date yet and got their CC months ago. It really depends on the consulate, so you can't blame NVC for that. Patience is a virtue, and it will all be worth it in the end.

Thought I was the only one in the world waiting , I got an email 04/15/2015 saying all documents were received and just waiting on the embassy to schedule and interview !!! It has been 4 months ! How long has everyone here waited for ?

I really can not see how the NVC is at fault here. they can only schedule interview when the embassy lets them know dates

also after reading your signature it seem like you could of gotten a cc a little sooner. you could of sent in the AOS and IV packets right after you paid the AOS fee on April 16th instead of waiting almost a month. Sending it may 19th was that their fault? you did not know that you could do that.

Also with a checklist( that could or could not have been their fault) it seems your cc was decent time. A lot of people that has gotten checklist have waited longer then that. Your case was complete July 29th. I just do not see what you have to complain about and how it is the NVC fault

How come i blame the Embassy other than blaming the NVC?

I spoke to my local embassy few times and they told us they don't have a busy schedule & it's NVC who will schedule the interview.

If u say it is embassy's fault, then that should be with a specific embassy not all embassy consulate. Everyone who got their CC on July or August are waiting for their interviews. Seems like NVC is not scheduling any interview nowadays. Check this spreadsheet if you don't believe me.

The delay we made to send the packages was because of some paperworks from our sponsor. We could do nothing about that.

and the checklist they sent us was by mistake of them. They asked us to complete some parts from the I-864 which was already completed. and fyi our case complete date was 22nd July. Usually people get their interview scheduled within a week or two after the CC. I haven't complaint for anything related to the CC time. It's the interview which we r concerned about. Nobody got interview for September to any Embassy except for a few. They are just not scheduling interviews. We also called our local embassy and they confirmed they don't have any busy schedule they r just waiting for the NVC to schedule. Seems like u r a paid employee of NVC.

It's always the blame game. You call NVC they point towards Embassy and If you call Embassy they point towards NVC. Well all we can do right now is just sit tight and pray and maintain peace.

Come join us at interview thread for Sept at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/559617-september-2015-interviews/page-44#entry7772728

I totally agree with you about NVC, bunch of incompetent, inefficient retards.... :ranting: We've been at supervisor review because of two incorrect checklists now since June 25th and every time we call, we get to speak to a new service rep who comes up with a new excuse for why our case hasn't been reviewed by the supervisor yet. The one I spoke to today said that the supervisor requested our case from the original reviewer on July 2nd, so we have to give it 45 days from July 2nd..... Eeeeh yeah, it's been 47 days from July 2nd now....

I totally understand your frustration. This process is just ridiculously long. No wonder there are so many illegal immigrants in the US. I hope you get an interview date soon and I hope we finally get our bloody cc now. Our original scan date was May 18th.... :ranting:

What u r telling me is the CC to Interview date. What i meant was CC to package 4 date. Its almost been a month of our CC & still we didn't get out interview scheduled or the package 4. That means our CC to Interview date will much longer that 58 days. Usually NVC schedules interview within a week of CC, i think they did the same for u too. For us & our other fellow applicants it's taking way way longer. And this has nothing to do with the Embassy, it is NVC who is lazy to schedule the interview for unknown reason.

Thats so bad. This is been 4 months from ur original scan date, still you r waiting for the CC. Keep calling the NVC and ask for the supervisor/case specialists. Don's speak to the agents, trust me it's just useless. On the 24th day of our checklist scan date i called NVC and one of the agent told me that i have another checklist, they don't see any documents that we sent. which was totally wrong. She also told us to resend the documents again. Thanks god we didnt. 2 days later our case was completed. If i had resent the documents again it would take another months to re-review.

And also after ur CC u have to wait long time for the interview. To the best of my knowledge NVC is not scheduling any interview for the last two months. I dont know what's happening to NVC & what kind of stuffs they recruit with full of mistakes and stupidity.

Hopefully u get ur CC soon. Best of luck
