That other member was a troll of the highest (lowest) caliber.

A casual observer does not know that. I'd have thought the TOS would apply at all times, unless you are suggesting that there are situations and people to whom it does not apply.

We're getting off topic here. What the poster is asking for is a way to unlike a post that she has accidentally "liked" I'll bring it up to Ewok for discussion.

Those that have brought up the down vote, its been discussed and decided against. We'll leave the thread open considering that is not the original request and assuming the OP is still genuinely interested in this feature.

Back to topic, I would like to be able to unlike a comment. Sometimes when I'm being nosy, trying to see someone who +1'd an asinine comment, I accidentally click the green arrow beside the number, thus making me look accidentally asinine. If I want to be asinine, I would like to do it with intent, if at all possible.

^ I do this too. Sometimes I am trying to see who clicked the one ups and other times(hate to admit it) but Im lazily laying around browsing and Ill grab the mouse the wrong way while its hovering on the screen and Ill end up liking a post that makes no sense to be to liked, contributing to my reputation of being one of the top emotionally unstable members!

So an undo would be great.

I have done that also.

Another thing I've done is gave the 1 up but then the person makes another comment, and that comment ends up with the post I +1 not a separate post. Then I don't agree with the rest of what was said and can't take it back.

I vote that we no longer share who +1'd a comment. Seems a waste to have a +1 when it is being used for people to check to see if "their" group +1'd it so they can join the herd. That should not be the intent.

No need to discuss down voting. I just want to be able reverse inadvertent likes or +1 or reps. Thank you! :)

Yes, there is.

There always is.

In your own thread, please feel free. In mine, I'd prefer the topic to be stuck to so it's looked at and not closed. Thank you.

It was an observation, not an attempt to derail your post, which waits for word from the short, furry one. ;)

Got a response from Ewok. Unfortunately this is out of the scope of the software and would not be a simple change. Considering it would take outside development, the site is not going to be able to honor this request. Sorry about that.
