yes this is correct. ep is slower, so don't do it. snail mail is super quick....take a look at the stats....

htps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10PgA_IJw9TFvAjQGxJUNaQpD-fgwi6yh0pusO54oppo/edit#gid=0

but, this is now....things changed dramatically in late feb without any notice from the nvc that processing was changing. note to self, it could change again for no reason.....especially since daca begins next month.

nvc called you to tell you about a checklist?....how bizarre! but either way, congrats on your cc!!!

yeah, i can't believe they called, but whatever, we'll take it! the rep. said they'd be doing more of that moving forward, so i guess that's good news for everyone.

I'm hoping to get mine reviewed tomorrow. It will only be a week since we submitted, but I hope it's ready. If not I'll call Tuesday, then Wed, then... well you see the pattern. LoL

Good luck on your IV invoice unlocking!

Hi folks! I wanna ask if is it OK to use other US bank account to pay AOS fee online? Or should it be the bank account of the petitioner? Thank you.

Hey guys/Saylin... I need some advice. I have been in Canada with my husband (whom I'm sponsoring) and our three children. We are trying to decide whether the kids and I should return to Florida before his interview to prove domicile. I currently have the following to prove it without being in Florida for the interview

-storage unit receipts and history from last summer when I put all of our personal belongings in storage

-bank account statements and credit card statements

-voter registration/ maintained florida drivers license

-application to extend temporary visitor status in Canada

-letter from previous employer and boss stating their confidence and belief in my ability to obtain a job earning a minimum starting salary of $45000

-current vehicle registration in florida

-social security statement

-report of us citizen birth abroad for our daughter born in canada last summer

-statement from mother stating we are more than welcome to stay with her for as long as needed to ind a suitable rental or purchase a home

- emails from schools for registration of our children

-former auto insurance emailed quote

Just curious if anyone can tell me if this will be enough or if I physically need to go back to the states with our children before the interview in Montreal. I don't know if this matters, but we do have a joint sponsor. Thanks!

Hi,

We provided similar documents for my wife as she is the petitioner and is living with me in ABUDHABI.

Add any utility bills if you have any back in the US.

Yes, we don't have a US account, so we used my father in laws. They don't care where the money comes from as long as it comes (from a US account of course)!

Just a quick one when sending your package in should you have 2 copies of the cover sheet one for each pack or is one OK because the NVC website only mentions you need one.

thanks

that's awesome, but what if your not home? wonder if they would leave a call back number? great to know though, then it can be discussed asap what's missing. It's a nice touch during a stressful process.

Yes, put a bar-coded cover sheet with each package. The packages go to different departments, so you want to make sure they each have their own cover sheet to be easily scanned.

Petitioner = I-864

Joint sponsor = I-864

You, as the beneficiary, don't fill out any affidavit of support form.

Question, is your dad a US citizen or resident?
