***sigh***

I'm in the same boat as many here.... waiting on the IV fee to be invoiced on my daughters' cases - mine already has been.....

I spoke to someone earlier this week (Anna - who was SUPER awesome)..... apologized for us getting incorrect info ((I'd previously been told that naming hubby, the usc, I could not speak on the kids' cases even though I'm their mom and they are minors so we should update the 261 into my name....did so and now they say they can't/won't review it over the phone because the agent is a 3rd party - not the beneficiary or petitioner!!)) But we're about a week or so away from their "give us 42 days to review the DS261" anyways.....

She confirmed paperwork is showing received for all three cases...... I got the "we can't open your pdf" email on 2 of our cases, fixed and resent it right away... rep said 3rd case looks fine (even though same attachment was used for all three files - just renames for each person).... then the very next morning I got the infamous 60 letter on my case (but not the kids)... and she said that was also fine "they're computer generated and often will only send one when the cases are marked as being related..."

So here I sit and wait........

They said that we have to wait !!

the rep confirmed that the fee was paid and said that the ds260 has to be reviewed before the case is closed but did not want to give any time frame .

Its been a week now, we will call today, I ll keep u updated.

Its really frustrating.

Lets hope it wont take too long for both of us :)

Anxiously waiting for an update from your call :) Alas, I know it will be generic "you have to wait until we review"

That's not an error, your IV fee hasn't been invoiced. Call into NVC and ask them to invoice IV fee.

Hi all,

this is a question about EP vs. paper. It seems like people who are mailing in their AOS and IV packages are getting faster results. Is this true?

I have a question, i just spoke to a rep at NVC, I was hoping she would review my Change of Agent form that way the invoice for the AOS can be activated so that i can pay the fee, she said she cant that I should check in every week, when i mentioned that i have all my AOS docs and the civil docs ready but hesitant to send it in because apparently i have to print a cover letter to include in the package, she suggested i send the docs in anyway, she said i can type out a cover page with my case number, beneficiary and applicant name on it and put that on the docs package and send it in so the days can start counting on that one, my concern with that is i've read here where people complain about missing documents they sent in already, which ended up delaying their case,I've also read about people getting conflicting info from different NVC rep as well. what do you guys think about this ?
