We received the Travel Document in the mail yesterday too. Apparently it is not part of the EAD but just an I-789 response letter that you show to the Immigration Officer at the POE together with your passport and probably the NOA1 from your AOS application.

We got the approval notice in the mail for AP today - dated February 12th. No news on EAD yet but I'm assuming it's coming soon :)

No news yet, I didn't file for AP since I imagined it would probably delay it. But from what I can see here that's not the case... oh well!

same here, i didnot file AP along with EAD at first. now dont know how long will get my GC approved, so now considering if I should file AP now with the NOA receipt..but will it delay EAD? will 90 days reset from AP ?

Hi, I don't think there is a clear timeline when you should expect for an interview. I have been following not only this topic, but also the November 2014 AOS Filers and October's in order to try to find a trend and it seems that for the interview to be scheduled, it all depends on the local USCIS office.

What I have seen is that people on average are getting their AP/AED card within 70 to 90 days as those are processed in Chicago, but the AOS interviews are scheduled by the local office. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, at least that is my impression.

If you look at my timeline on Jan 14 my AOS status changed to "interview ready." On February 2, I received notification that my interview for AOS is on March 12. While many people from November have already received their AP/AED cards not everyone have an interview date scheduled.

You can take a look at VJ's estimates for AOS by local office, but they are just estimates :idea:
