Hey everyone! We sent off our AOS packet last Saturday (technically 11/29) - but as it was received on Monday 12/1 we're calling it December! Anyone else out there? We are adjusting off of a K-1 visa. We submitted for AP and EAD also. Here's hoping this is less frustrating than waiting AGES for our I-129F approval!

Hi guys! NOA1 on 12/04, we are adjusting off of a K1 too. Keep us posted on your progress. Am I correct assuming EAD and AP should take around 90 days?

Hi! Depending on where they process your EAD and AP, estimated processing looks like it is around 90 days.

We FINALLY got NOA1 today - even though we filed in November. Whooop! It's starting!

Hi jennrg83, same case here.:-) I am also from K1. Filled my AOS with EAD and AP together last Dec 09. It's just that I didn't receive any notification yet until today...

One quick question to everyone, how did you put the cheque payment? I'm just curious....

We put the cheque inside an envelope, sealed it and write on top US Department of Homeland Security and clipped it on top of our completed form I 485...

I put our check on the top of the packet and clipped the entire thing together with a binder clip. I did not place it in an envelope, although I don't see how that would cause any problems.

Ok. Thank you jennrg63 for your reply. One more question,

In your application, did your husband filed the I485 for you or you applied by yourself?

The reason why I am asking this is because my husband's part in the whole package was just the affidavit of support and his g325A. Did i do it right?
