NVC Filers - May 2014

And I have YET to receive ANY email from NVC, even though both our emails are verified every time I call. How can I respond to a checklist if they don't send me the checklist?????

What is wrong is that the PCC in Australia is sent directly to the Sydney consulate. There is no option for a petitioner from Queensland or New South Wales to get the PCC sent directly to him/her.

So - of COURSE - the PCC is missing. What should be happening is that NVC should give us case complete with a provisional checklist that says that the PCC must be sent to Sydney prior to the interview. I don't understand why that letter (checklist) has not yet been generated. The AOS is done - and the IV appears to be done except for this issue.

There was no way to frontload this PCC - it could not be sent to Sydney until the case file is there.

So both Jack and Kelly said there would be a checklist.

Congratulations!!!! Really exciting news, a little delayed for me, but I was traveling during May and just came back. I'm now trying to catch up on VJ reading (80+ pages to go!)

So, there are several "ifs" (a big one being whether I'll be in the country), but would you please add me to the Six Flags plan, just in case?! Thanks

sorry misunderstand i mean I send my AOS package march 12 and i got checklist email april1st so its all most 20 days take for them to recieved and review and generated checklist

This is so unfair, I am so sorry for you. You should definitely receive a case complete, they are not making any sense. And what are they expecting you to do once you receive the checklist? Can't you send them an explanation and a proof that you can't send it yourself? (With the original barcode sheet and send it to the Attn DR)

We will be doing the East Coast swing when I get the family back to the USA....

it will be Disney, DC and Six Flags just to name a few

Once I leave in two weeks I will only update those on the list about Six Flags.

I will also update list members on our itinerary so if you cant make Six Flags

then maybe Disney or another venue. My hope is no matter what happens

that I might keep in touch with some of the VJ family that I came to know

during my journey.

I logged in to the ceac.state.gov site and the "Pay" button is clickable for IV fees. When i click on it, it brings me to a page where I initially paid AOS fees but there is nothing under IV fees. AOS fees is still in progress.

I called in the AM and they told me my package is being reviewed.

Now Olivia told me they are working on the 16-April mail. Have no clue what/who to believe!!!

I'll call after hours, hopefully I'll get a better answer!!!!!!!!!!

being reviewed is another way of saying " yea, your package is here"

next time you call, ask the operator if they are able to tell the status. I know they can tell if mail is received for the case but has not been touched yet... Maybe it has staging levels for each scan.. WHO FRIGGIN knows???

This is random, but I was wondering where everyone met their spouses? We have a huge variety of countries on this thread. I am wondering how everyone got together.. my husband was here on a tourist visa and was living with a mutual friend. I got laid off one spring and had some time on my hands so I went to hang out with my friend and there he was. We were friends for a year before we moved to BF/GF status. I met him only 4 months after he arrived in the US. He didn't speak a word of english. I used to bring him books so he could try to study english. I took him to NYC, Atlantic City, the Jersey shore for motorcross on the beach, the philadelphia Zoo, Amusement parks and countless trips to the mall. HA HA Museums and restaurants.. I could go on...

It's odd because me and my wife were on our msn messengers, but we happened to be logged into our old e-mail accounts at the time. We don't know how we ended up on there, possibly from a church website we use to go on a long time ago.. but she messaged me three times, until I was actually home to respond to the last message she sent. Of course it said "Are you from the UK?" . This was back in 2007, and we didn't meet until June 2010, engaged by Christmas 2010, and then married Dec 3 2011!

Make sure you're using IE for one. And then keep checking back for two.

Sukie, call and ask for a supervisor review. They told me it would take 30 days.. I requested it on Thursday afternoon and they reviewed it last night. The weekend was in the mix too so I would say 2 days for a review. They check listed me for a Police cert that isn't even required at NVC. The supervisor removed it from the checklist for me. Maybe the reviewer is not familiar with Australia or cannot read instructions My file is proof that they don't know

Thanks. I tried IE and Chrome. I think i just need to wait til tomorrow.

AOS fees left the bank yesterday Hoping for "Paid" stamp tomorrow for AOS.

Sent my AOS documents today too.
