They have started already. We are September filer and got RFE last week ? I guess they are working on both August and September. All the best?

I guess they start sending RFEs to ppl before they mark their 5months. Curious, what was your RFE for? Makes me nervous, that means that i could receive one anytime too if im missing something - but nothing yet.

I've been hearing that Nebraska is processing I-30's in about five months. Our five months were up Jan 18 (yeah, Aug 18 filers/Nebraska). I haven't heard anything from them yet. I'm so excited and nervous and scared. I'm wondering if they could possibly issue a RFE this far into it. And why when I go to "check my status" does it still say "We received your petition on Aug 18 blah, blah, blah..." Is there a more accurate site? This is nerve racking. We were denied at the I-29 fiancé interview and I want this to go quickly yet as we get closer and closer to interview time I get anxiety and am so fearful because of our first disappointing experience.

An RFE (what we don;t want) doesn't happen until they adjudicate your petition. When you get receipt # your petition is put in a box and out on a shelf until your week of filing comes up. For Nebraska it's 5 to 6 months like clock work. So like you said any day now.

There's nothing to update on your case that's why there's no change unless they updated your file like address change, RFE. Otherwise the next update is "Approved". If you signed up for email and text you will get that. Than a week after approval it will change to mailed to Department of state (NVC).

Once you arrive at NVC it's about 14 to 28 days to get case#. So we tell people start calling NVC 2 weeks after you are approved.

We were in the same boat as you with the K-1 and yes it causes anxiety in a massive way. You will have your approval very soon. I tell my husband daily everything will work out great this time around...all we can do is pray!

The only place you can check is the USCIS website or call them. Good luck with your journey.

You should get that any day now. It took ours a week to leave USCIS and then NVC received four days later.

Hey I don't know. They sent the RFE on 15th january,didn't receive yet. It was sent to us within 4months but will be 5months on February anyway. Im so tensed. Already 6-7days over didnt receive RFE in mail hopefully by next week. Don't worry you shouldn't get one. Lets hope for the best.

Hello Nebraska Filers did anyone get any answer from the USCIS, mostly anyone from the September filers? Still waiting for RFE mail. Anyone has any idea how long it takes to reach? Its already 7 buisness days im too worried. Thinking of calling USCIS tomorrow if they can email us. Sounds ok?

Finally today I just got approved, after exactly 5 months to the day ! My NOA1 was 28th of August.

I'm glad to be moving on ...
