We had to drive 2 hours to OKC for biometrics, so we didn't want to take the chance on a walk-in just in case we got turned down. I did see a person in front of me get turned down that had an appointment next week.

The lady when I got there told me i had to take out my piercings (i have several on my face and in my ears) and I was having trouble with one of them. The lady let me go get a pair of pliers from Wal-Mart and come back. lol. My lip is pretty swollen today from messing with it yesterday. I wish I had known ahead of time to take them out!

I have a question concerning the Affidavit of Support Form along with the AOS packet. When we sent it out we didn't have my husband's W2 for 2013 so we sent everything until 2012.

There is one question in the affidavit of support that says: "My current annual income" and what we did was just multiply his last paycheck for 12 but we just got our W2 for 2013 and the amount that the document states is not what the result of our multiplication was, it way less because it doesn't show the salary he is making now.

We are just worried because we put a wrong amount in that question because we didn't have the w2 yet, needless to say the w2 for 2013 is over the poverty limit but we are just afraid that it will cause troubles. We have our biometrics appt in two weeks. Should we mention it?

Thank you!

I wouldnt mention anything, if was a problem they would have requested before, i would think, and if they need they will probably ask you to bring to the interview :)

We just got our Biometrics appointment notice!!!! It's March 20th! We're considering doing an early walk-in... but nervous to do it because it's a 1.5 hour drive to the office. And if they turn us away it would be a waste in gas $. Any advice? (Yes, I've read the topic about walk-ins)

Good luck everybody!

No, mine wasn't allowed in so he waited outside. I did an early walk-in, I would recommend it. Don't know if it speeds up the case, but at least your done with biometrics wink.png

Awesome, thank you! :) Don't think I'll do a walk-in, I live 20 mins-walk away from their offices. But first things first...waiting for NOA1 hard copys and the biometrics appointment :)
