Consulate Review: Peru
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : August 9, 2013
Embassy Review : We got there at 7.30 am and our appt was at 8.45 am. We got in at 9 am and we were the 12th couple already. Everything was good. I wasn't even asked to provide much evidence, The first window asked me for my ds256 and pictures and then told me to sit down and within 5 minutes I was called to another window where there was a lady who asked me for my affidavit of support and i gave her everything my sweetie gave me. I asked if she wanted to see evidence or something and she just asked me for pictures and barely took a look and said it was enough. After about 30 minutes I was called to a window (I remember it was the 9th) and my fiance and I stood up and went there and there was an american lady who interviewed us through the window. I thought it was going to be in the last one, like everyone else but I supposed it was their lunch time or something. She asked me how we met and how many times I was in the US and that was it. Our visas were approved. We are so relieved this is over and we are ready to start the best!!!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
