wow.gif No disrespect intended but yours must be made of brass. You have a right to be engaged to as many women as you want to, but to have the gall to come on this forum to ask for assistance with that journey is the epitome of gall! I wish you everything that you have coming to you.....as soon as possible. Peace!

Edited by Tosh Love

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

Mimolicious , what is the 5 year rule? I'm not asking to doubt you , I'm really curious :) I really can't stand to see stuff like this going on because so many of us went through a lot to get our spouses here because of people like this. I hope and pray that there is a 5 year rule where you can't bring another after gaining citizenship through a U.S spouse!

I been confused a little .. i went to my country on october 2013 i met this girl and i got engaged with her while i was married with this USC wife in America and then when i came back from my country on end of october and then i got my citizenship on january 2014 . and now i will apply for divorce ...im planing that after i get my divorce paper can i apply for I 130 for K 1 visa for the girl i met in back home or you advise me go again to back home after i divorce my USC wife and get engaged one more time and then come back and apply...

You are confused a lot, not a little. Fraud intent does that to you.

1. Engaging while being married does not fly here.

2. You got your forms mixed up.

3. No one here will advise you to get engaged again and support you scamming your wife to circumvent an immigration

benefit for your current flame and flavor of the month or long time planned agenda whatever it may be.

You are on your own to navigate your dilemma.

My condolences to your wife and current "fiance" both !

I was still married, although separated, while with my current fiancé. I got divorced and then filed the I-29F, and our visa was approved last month at the embassy. They didn't even question my previous marriage or the time frame.

Wow...That's not the first time I've heard that..A Pakistani man was engaged to my best friend and they were expecting a child..without her knowledge was he married and had a family in his own country... The wife called the fiance and that was the end of it...

Honesty is key,whatever you do.

And I disagree Mimo... the government does not need to do away with K 1 visas...Because not all people are as dishonest and sneaky.. There are cross cultural couples who genuinely deserve to be together.

Let me get this right, you married a USC and in the marriage you got engaged to another woman? That sure sounds like you had intention to defraud. If I was looking at your case I would definitely deny your case. Being married and then telling another woman you want to marry her is definitely fraud no matter how you look at it.

Poor "the USC wife".

Yet another another reason the government needs to do away with the k-1 visa

Scammers are patient. They also don't really care about the name of the visa, their goal is to come.

Whatever name you call the visa (K, IR, F...). If they care it's because one is quicker compared to the other.

Strange the peeps writing government should do away with K 1 Visa..Are not even American /or. and they also needed the K1 visa or other process to get to the states... Don't be like that people.
