My Fiancee is 15yrs older than me. She is petitioning for me as she is the US citizen. As from the people around us we have had no support in this. We are just worried that would this be considered a Red Flag for the K1 visa approval?

what country issued your passport ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Unless your fiancee makes several trips to visit and spend time with you while you are there, the age difference is a huge red flag. You might want to research further in all the portals about stories with age difference. It tends to make a CO's eye brow go up with specific countries which it is out of the norm to marry an older woman.

Best of luck!

Its been a little over an year that she had to leave but we have been together for almost 8yrs and have enough to prove. Do you think that helps?

Can you please suggest any other portals?

Naa isn't. She is American, past the age of having kids (Has 2 from her past marriage) and she is a Unitarian.

You seem to have hit all the buttons.

How much time in person have you spent together?

Do you have proof of time spent in person?

Do you have proof of communication throughout your entire relationship?

Oh yes, all of it. We have even vacationed in other countries together too. We have compiled and submitted the record of our relationship from day one to present.

Emails, Chats, Facebook conversations, Cell phone chats, Pictures, Etc.

Has she lived with you for several of these years ? If not, do you have proof that you have continually communicated those 8 years ?

If yes then the age difference should not be a problem. Eight years is a long time but you have to back it up with evidence.

Curious...why file after 8 years and not sooner ?

Sorry, just posted at the same time you answered.
