Ok, Optin e-mail received and both packages (AOS and DS-260) have been re-sent as of 5 minutes ago (about 5:35pm EST) using the supervisor review trick. Any estimation on when they might receive/ review the packages with the supervisor review? Thanks again for the help, Saylin!

Case complete!

Woo-hoo!!!

Just found out that it was completed today at 3.30 PM.

When I called earlier today around noon, I was told they are still waiting for the AOS from me. But they showed they have "mail awaiting review". So it was either a really brief review of my ~50 AOS pages, or they don't update the system when they "start" the review, only when they "finish" it.

I was so torn whether to call again today or wait till Monday. Today is business day 19 since they received our packets.

Glad I called! :)

USCIS (106 days) US Consulate/Medical

12/18/12- NOA1 08/22/13- Medical

04/03/13- NOA2 09/16/13- Interview (Approved!)

Transit (68 days) 09/19/13- Visa in hand

NVC (59 days) 09/19/13- USCIS Immigrant Fee paid, ELIS: Circle: Accepted, Status: Case Received

06/10/13- Case Received ELIS/GC Production (63 days)

06/19/13- Case # and IIN Received 12/14/13- POE Houston

06/19/13- DS-3032 emailed 12/23/13- SSN card arrived in the mail

06/21/13- AOS bill paid 02/06/14- ELIS: Circle: Optimized, Status: In Process

06/25/13- DS-3032 accepted 02/07/14- USCIS status: Initial Review

06/26/13- IV bill paid 02/10/14- USCIS status: Card Production

06/28/13- AOS and IV packages sent 02/13/14- ELIS Circle: Closed, Status: Card Produced

07/23/13- IV accepted 02/15/14- card arrived in the mail

07/26/13- AOS accepted

07/26/13- Case complete

07/30/13- Interview scheduled (for 09/16/13)

Typically just a day or two with a supervisor, so probably early next week.

NVC operator said tonight that I have to give them "at least" until August 3rd for one IV checklist item, and "at least" Mid-August for the other...... Despite one being e-mailed on 06/27 and the one by post being delivered on 07/01.... they don't show one of the items as being received until 07/15 (the other shows 07/02, so that's ok).... I'm glad I booked the trip in October to see my husband and his family.... As happy as I am seeing other people's checklist items being accepted in a couple of weeks of being sent.... I'm really sad right now.....

I was so clueless when I joined this thread 4 months ago. This NVC stage is the most complex and dense part of the immigration process. Your organization of resources and steps lays out the process in layman terms that anyone can understand. Our "thank yous" are all we can offer, but they just can't express the heaviness of our gratitude to you!

Received the email yesterday that my revised AOS form that was resubmitted due to receiving a checklist is being reviewed. Everything else has been approved. This approval is the last piece before completing our case, which I hope is soon. I would like to have some good news to tell my husband when I go to Canada for a visit in 2 weeks.

1/24/2007 - Met for the first time in Dallas, TX

1/23/2009 - Met again in Montreal, Canada

7/23/2011 - Re-connected yet again (this time for good!)

10/27/2012 - Married

12/7/2012 - sent in I-130 package

12/10/2012 - Received NOA 1

4/29/2012 - Received NOA 2

Called this morning, told to wait 20 business days after mailing the AOS and IV. Only half way there. Is that how long it has taken others?
