Called DOS. Their response time is under 1 minute!

The rep. said the email with instructions should come in 3-5 days.

And since they told you your case is under review, I think you might have a resolution tomorrow!

I hope so! They gave me the update on Monday, so hopefully no later than the end of this week.

I've never tried calling the DOS. Do they give better information than NVC?

I've never tried calling the DOS. Do they give better information than NVC?

They can give you the same information about the interview as NVC can - just without the wait on the phone!

I think you got your approval usually uscis emailing your petitioner about the approval and wait for noa 2 letter in your us mailing address. call national visa center then. goodluck kabayan on this nvc processing.

April 19, 2013 - submit the form I-130

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist

September 20, 2013 Sept 26, arrived @ NVC

Do you just give them your nvc case number?

Yes, you give the same information that you would when calling NVC.

No if you read the person's signature it took 3 days for the file to arrive at the NVC, but they did not get case numbers until the May 29th, 16 days after the file arrived at the NVC. So, even if the case file makes it to the NVC, it takes a while to generate a case number. Give them at least a week, before you start calling. It can take up to 90 days for the file to get to the NVC.
