Aside from the mainstream, I'd vote for an Asian-American, an African-American, an Arab-American, a Hindu, a Muslim an Atheist whatever. Doesn't matter to me. Qualification, persona, vision and platform. That is what matters.

I can say that if a Philippino was running, I would probably be getting dragged to support parties and have stickers of support everywhere. It got crazy when Jessica Sanchez was on American Idol.
