I just got the email from USCIS and we are approved. It took 76 days. When I get the hard copy I will let everyone know where the approval came from. I suspect it will be the Orlando office, but we'll see. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

Just curious did your approval come out of Orlando?

The approval notice says it came from NBC in Missouri, but I thought it was transferred to Orlando. My assumption is that it was approved in Orlando, but forwarded through NBC. That is of course only my guess as the notice does say the National Benefits Service.

They still process at NBC, not everything is sent on to a local office.

Just like Chris&Laura and A_&_T.. They all received their NOA2 from NBC.. Like Lee b, they also thought their approvals would come from their local offices in Utah and California..

Does this mean our cases could still be at NBC?

Not necessarily. Hubby got an RFE from a local office and the USCIS site's last update was a transfer from NBC to Local Office. The RFE isn't showing.

I found a chart which showed my field office had 55 completions in September and 61 receipts. I assumed my file would take under the two month mark if the trend continued. It looks like it all depends on the volume of the local field offices for those of us who got transferred to one to try and fix the backlogs.
