This thread is for IR-1/CR-1 visa applicants, not K1s. You won't find much useful here...

You start with high school(s) and go forward through colleges, universities, etc.

As far as I know, vaccines aren't country-specific since everyone here is immigrating to the US, so everyone should need the same vaccines (everyone's going to the same country). I'm going to assume you're between 18 and 64, so read this list: http://www.panelphys.../Pages/Age6.htm

Oh okay thank u for that schooling info. And the vaccines also. Phew

Holy Moly™. Queen Software Test Engineer. Can we discuss the intricacies of Function Point Computational Analysis?

rofl.gifrofl.gif u made me laugh for real. And no we can't cuz that involves math. We already see i failed at that 1 + 1 +1 (don't add spouse twiceblink.gif). Its a fancy title in laymens terms i am a QA Analyst/Tester of software. Start new job July 9th.

By the way what is considered a good amount of pay stubs. I mean i will have the letter of employment. Is one enough or what?

If your pay stubs have a YTD (year to date) amount, then you only need the latest one.

No I was out of the country living with husband than came back and was on unemployment. It shouldn't be an issue since my current job is 4 times the guideline and some. isn't current what they seek? I won't need a sponsor and they will see form the previous 2 years I always made good money.

Yes, NVC will look at your present salary in 2012 year to measure if you will make above poverty guidelines for your household size. You should be fine!

Indian people are good in math, my fellow Nurse Indians dnt use calculator when calculating intake and output of our patient wow.gif

I can do that too but it will take time laughing.gif

hehehehehe Thanks! Good luck to have your case completed tomorrow :)

If the petitioner answered YES to all 3 questions, that only gives him the option of filing I-864EZ instead of I-864. It doesn't mean they SHOULD use the I-864EZ - they MAY fill out either form.

That's true, but I personally recommend to use I-864EZ if you meet the requirements. Your AOS stands out compare to other applicants who have more than 1 immigrants in application and/or need co-sponsor to meet income requirements. I also felt I-864EZ version is pretty straight forward to complete compare to I-864.

I sent last two months paystubs though NVC operator suggested only 1 month is sufficient.

Seems all knowledge and wisdom has left me at USCIS and I am beside myself. Okay here goes. The DS-230 List below all educational institutions attended. Is that every school since the beginning my husband has attended? Or just college and universities? Goodness sorry I have more.

Where do I go to get specific vaccination information about Nigeria? Getting so many conflicting stories on what shots are needed. Thanks

Okay you had to save the FOXIT in your desktop. Never heard of this! Why do I feel like I just went at this DS-230 the hard way! LOL...I fought with this the entire week and ate 14 boxes of snacks! None of my African Attire fits anymore! hahahahaha...I need to get up and do sprints inbetween posts instead of eating and biting my nails. I have a ton of VERY NERVOUS ENERGY!

I have direct deposit and do not get check stubs. Can I get print out (spread sheet) of my year to date and offer that with a current letter stating my date of hire and that I am still currently employed?

Hi all

Sorry haven't been around much. It's funny that once your case closes, your focus turns to the interview. I have managed to reschedule mine to next week - July 10. I am so thrilled

It means that the whole process has taken us 4 months from the time UsCIS received the petition to interview date. I wonder is that is some kind of a record?

To those of you waiting for case numbers, invoice numbers, packages delivered or reviewed, case closed and interview dates, hang in there. It feels torturous while you are in the midst of it but the NVC process really does fly by. My advice, if you are feeling stressed, take a days break from it all. It really will do you a world of good. And stop comparing your timeline with others. It all happens for a reason.

All the best to everyone waiting and to Darnell and Saylin - THANK YOU!

USCIS Stage - 10 days total from package received to approved

03/09/12 - I-130 package sent

03/12/12 - package received

03/22/12 - APPROVED - NOA2 received via email - USC living abroad (8 days)

03/27/12 - NOA2 received in mail

NVC Stage - 34 days from case number to case complete - including messy RFE

04/17/12 - Case has arrived at NVC

04/27/12 - Case number received (25 days from approval)- sent DS3032 via email

05/04/12 - IV bill received and paid. AOS bill appears as PAID.

05/05/12 - IV bill appears as PAID. Still waiting on replacement marriage certificate.

05/11/12 - DS230 and I864 packages (without marriage cert) sent to joint sponsor before being forwarded to NVC
