I have direct deposit and do not get check stubs. Can I get print out (spread sheet) of my year to date and offer that with a current letter stating my date of hire and that I am still currently employed?

As per NVC requirements, paystubs are not mandatory but are recommended because it helps to make your AOS more solid for this year. Are you going to generate spread sheet by yourself or provided by your employer with Year-To-Date salary information in there?

Adding an official employer letter will also be useful. This is what I did recently and you may try to see if you can also get it done:

1. I have a direct deposit with my employer and I also get a printed paystub (with no check) in mail. I can download the same paystub from my employer's internal portal and print it. You may ask with other people or HR in your company and find out if they can provide you print out for recent paystubs.

2. I also got an official letter from HR Director stating I work for them. This letter included my hire date, employment status, salary, home address, work address. This was provided in company's letter-pad to prove it's authentic.

They reviewed my AOS and IV package each in 7 days from the date delivered to their office. Check my signature to get exact dates.

They first assign a date and then forward your case documents to foreign embassy. That's what NVC Operator told me on last Friday when my case got completed.

Thank you all. I am so anxious to get this done.

I was 'nesting' this weekend, totally rearraned bedroom, purchased a great dresser for the mister on Craigslist, making room. Feel like I'm having a baby! LOL!

Hi all

Sorry haven't been around much. It's funny that once your case closes, your focus turns to the interview. I have managed to reschedule mine to next week - July 10. I am so thrilled

It means that the whole process has taken us 4 months from the time UsCIS received the petition to interview date. I wonder is that is some kind of a record?

To those of you waiting for case numbers, invoice numbers, packages delivered or reviewed, case closed and interview dates, hang in there. It feels torturous while you are in the midst of it but the NVC process really does fly by. My advice, if you are feeling stressed, take a days break from it all. It really will do you a world of good. And stop comparing your timeline with others. It all happens for a reason.

All the best to everyone waiting and to Darnell and Saylin - THANK YOU!

Grats on getting an earlier interview date! And good luck!

And no, 4 months is definitely no record. There have been cases of getting through this entire process in less than a month thanks to DCF.

After NVC get our AOS package and IV package, how long does it take for NVC to complete the case?

How many days?

If NVC get my package on 2nd July, is there a possibility that my case will be complete by 2nd week of this month?

I just hope to have my interview date soon :)

I can't wait till my case is complete :)

Thank u so much!!

It's taking NVC around a week to review your packages. If nothing is missing or incorrect in either package, you should have a case complete by next week.

I also sent last documents/IV packet which was received last Wedn morning. I called Friday pm at ~10PM EST and received a message saying NVC is closed, please call back during regular business hours, blah blah blah. I called a couple times to no avail. Everyone call out sick?? LOL.

Keeping fingers crossed. Will call later today to check if complete. Once complete, does it go to embassy first and then appt scheduled or vice versa? Thanks

Case complete > interview date scheduled > case forwarded to consulate/embassy
