It was just over a year, Giselle managed an internet cafe and worked A LOT of hours so I would dare to say we talked an average of 4 hours a day for that year on skype or yim.......(L)

Met online July 2010 (just before I was about to start university!) & met for the first time last year, May 2011- I was so nervous!

I'd spent 20+ hours travelling in a daze, where the thought of what I was doing hadn't really sunk in. That changed though when, as soon as I touched Coloradoan soil, he couldn't even understand what I was saying over the phone because my voice was shaking so bad! Waiting for him to come pick me up was the scariest wait of my life- I thought I was crazy, even though I trust him more than I've ever trusted anyone else in my life!

Strangely enough though, as soon as he got out the car we had a long hug (with the airport lady yelling at us to get a move on, because it was a pick-up only zone :P) & I was absolutely fine during the car ride to his place- it was almost like we were good friends who had just seen each other recently, haha :D !)

It was right around 10 months for us. We met on an online game (we were in the same clan). I thought he seemed like an intelligent guy with a great sense of humor. We also had a lot of the same goals in life. I added him on MSN and we started chatting. Then we chatted every day for hours on end talking about everything from the weather to our deepest fears. After about 5 months of this he confessed he had feelings for me. We decided to try and arrange him to come see America. I encouraged him to bring his sister since he's shy. They came and we knew we made the right choice. We've been inseparable since (except for that pesky him having to go back home nonsense). Thank goodness for MSN and Skype because even though I couldn't hold him, we were able to keep in touch. He proposed a year and a half after we met on a December visit. Took him two weeks to work up the courage. :)

Turns out the other half of my soul lived halfway across the world. I'm lucky to have found him. (L)

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Is there a poll for how many of us got naked on cam?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

We met in cyberspace in 2003 or so, barely talked and somehow reconnected over the same text based internet game in 2010. After reconnecting like that after so many years it seemed like fate, so we met about 2 months after.
