HELLO EVERYONE! WE FILED OUR PAPERS IN LATE MARCH BUT GOT OUR NOA1 IN APRIL AND OUR CHECK WAS CASHED ON THE 27TH OF APRIL! I THINK JUNE IS OUR MONTH AND WE ALL ARE GONNA GET OUR NOA2 SOON! THEY RAISED THE INTERVIEW FEES! SO THEY BETTER MOVE FAST!

Keep your spirits high Vermont K-1's because VSC seems to be kicking some butt lately by getting approvals fast.

Notice that if you look at some of the past months where VSC seemed to be slower than CSC, you will see that VSC had many more apps to deal with than CSC. Of course, we can only see the difference in terms of VJ applicants. However, I assume that the VJ data might be a good sample of what is happening on a larger scale which includes both VJ and non-VJ people.

i am sure VSC has more cases than CSC, there are more states sending papers to VSC than to CSC. but they have started moving faster...

hey everybody! we are gonna get our NOA2 in June! all of us and no RFE! at least lets hope so!

Hello everyone, just found this forum lol. Our NOA1 was filed April 15th. After being physically together for over a year, I'm dying here in the states alone. Hope everything moves smooth and quickly. The only thing we have been struggling with right now is getting the police certificates. Africa can be a pain in "A" sometimes. My fiancee is from South Africa, we met while she was staying in Uganda for awhile helping her mother run her business. Now she has been working in Malawi. So, trying to get police certificates from SA, Uganda, and Malawi, ugh!!!! Wish our Consulars would except INTERPOL reports, they are easy to get.

Well I should be excited my file was touched today. But no we got an RFE - lordy only knows why cause dang we were thorough.

So now we have to wait for the stupid thing in the mail before we know what it was!!

"On June 9, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail."

Not the end of the world. They will send you a document asking for what's missing and you send it back to them. Adds two weeks to the process at most. Not a big deal.
