I have no issue with it. I have nothing to hide.

I agree. Nothing to hide, so I have nothing to worry about. And them being able to see and outline of my breasts or whatever doesn't bother me either. When you think about it, wearing a tight tshirt probably shows more than the body scan would!!

I have no problems with it either.

Yes, I would be happy to do it. The point of the full body scan is to make sure we are all safe when we fly. The only way it can be effective is if full body scanning is required of 100% of passengers- otherwise, those who wish to do harm to others will simply opt out.

Not a problem.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that by opting out, you either get a full pat down + explosives test and or strip search in a room etc.

Also, I'm the one person (at this point in time) on the No with time answer. I'm not particularly fond of the idea and I'm always early so if I have an hour or two on my hands I'd rather take the more private approach. It might even save me money (no visit to the bar while I'm waiting.)

No problem with it. What ever it takes to keep 'animals' off of our public transportation systems.

Especially if it means I don't have to take my shoes off.. put them on, stuff the laptop back in its bag, put my watch/jewelry/belt/wallet/cell phone/coins back on, blah blah blah.... (all while everyone else is wishing I'd hurry up).. :hehe:

I don't think its anything like a strip search - and in most cases, we give our consent just by being someplace (airport, train station, etc) - sometimes past a certain point, but cross that line and we've already said "OK." And' OK' to much worse than a simple strip search I'll bet.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

Suggested to a female guard when inspected last week, why don't they make is all board naked. She replied, then she would quit her job, she doesn't want to see people naked, would make her vomit. I have to agree with her, but it did get a laugh.
