Minor issue - and maybe it is user error....who knows.

My "notification counter" doesn't seem to work properly. For example...I have "49" notifications - the little number on the Person Icon. I click on the Person Icon and am taken to the list of the 49 notifications. All notifications are for the same thread. I click on the top notification (the most recent) and it takes me to the first unread post in the thread. I read from that post to the end of the thread (which means I read everything for which there was a notification.

I refresh the screen, and the number of notifications still reads "49" - even though I've read all of them.

Is this the way it should be?

Can't update my timeline. I'm trying to put in biometrics appointment for my EAD but it puts the date in the place where the date for any RFE's should go. Even if I place a date in the RFE square and then try to put the date for the biometrics in, it refuses to do so.

I cannot update the Guatemala Embassy Info page... have tried different browsers (Firefox and Google Chrome) with the same result. I'm on Windows 7.

Here's the error message: "Query failed : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 't make the appointment ahead before speaking to them this will cause some dilemm' at line 1."

It can take a few days for an avatar change to catch up. So if you set one and then change it, it might be 2 days or 3 before the new one is visible. Just a quirk of the site.

I think I figured it out XD my old comments had special characters that are no longer allowed like the long dash "—" so it deleted them

I've either stumbled across an bug in IPB, or I'm just being silly. Every time I try to replace my profile image, it sticks with the one that's currently there. Even the direct URL renders exactly the same image. It seems to do this even if I "remove" the image and replace it with something entirely different.

Any ideas?

Been away a few days (since 11/25. Now I can't quote and respond to questions. I can only post in a thread with no quoting. I get "Gateway. Timeout error".

Any clue whats up?
